Because he has claimed that his Christian notion of "creation" is the only explanation for the existence of the universe ~ which of course is not true. There are other explanations that have been offered. I mentioned one of them. josephw attaching the word "rational" to his conjecture doesn't add any weight or traction to his belief.

You should do this. I don't think it is abnormal to believe in gods. The fun starts when we wonder which ones!

Be that as it may, but your claim on the previous page that your explanation is the only one still isn't true.
Try to use reason FMF. Fundamentally, reduced to the LCD, there are two opposing world views concerning the origin of life.

The one, evolution, is based in conjecture, speculation and unproven theories. The assertion is that life appeared by chance from matter composed of energy, of which no explanation for its existence is known, only that it has always existed, which, in and of itself, is unreasonable, since there is no basis in knowledge for that conclusion in which to rely on with any certainty.

So, one can either base their world view about the origin of life on theoretical claims or on reason; the reason being that life produces life, that all that exists provides the necessary evidence for reason, not paradoxical speculations based on conjectural theorizing.

So, your claim that my "explanation is the only one still isn't true" is based on a lack of knowledge, and is without merit because it is without reason. It is unreasonable for one to claim something isn't true when he himself doesn't know what is true.

Getting stoned causes brain damage. Drug induced altered states of consciousness is a form of witchcraft and sorcery, which generates hallucinations about what forms the basis of reality, causing one to lose focus and concentration, allowing disturbances in thought processes, which in turn blinds one to the truth.

There are many "god's". They can be anything that supplants the knowledge of the only true and living God in the heart and mind of man.

How many times do people have to tell you? The theory of evolution does not presume to explain the origin of life.

No amount of word salad of this kind will disguise the fact that you no more know what the origin of life is than I do.

Evolution really doesn't speak to the origin of life; however, it does assume it occurred.
Some non-living material was able to connect at just the right time, in a place that could
support it and sustain it, and a million other little details just happen to be right and yippie
there was life.

The fact that josephw continues to think that the theory of evolution is a theory about the origin of life does rather undermine his credibility on this subject.

Your version comes from your mouth, and from no where else. Your fabulous god is hidden, absent, invisible, nowhere but in your head. Haven't you ever wondered about this? If your god is so strong and important, why is it not in the world.

I do realize you are fanatic, and immune to reality. I guess you need that.

That is pretty common, I think. People who reject knowledge because of ideology, and before they actually learn about the subject.

Humans. Are we great, or stupid, or both?

I think it's interesting how people will go to great lengths to try to fill gaps in human knowledge with their ideology about the supernatural rather than simply acknowledge that those gaps in human knowledge exist.

You seem to spew a lot of things about other's gods as if you were the keeper of all
knowledge with respect to other's people's gods. I would submit to you that you not seeing
a god in the universe, may have something to do with your abilities, than God not being
there. If that is true, you telling people God isn't around only shows how blind you are to
God, not that God isn't there.

Imagine if what you think is true about evolution here, is also true about God, people
reject the knowledge because of ideology.

No matter how many times you say that it will always be false.

I do know. You don't. Obviously. Actually, that's not true either. You do know, but you pretend not to know because you choose not to believe what you know is true.

You have a big problem.

Tell that to Jesus when you meet him.
