Atheism was defeated in this forum on the 16th of May 2012.
It was defeated long before that - but for the forum dwellers it was defeated once again.
It was defeated because no person with their conscious intelligence and creative potency can design a new world/universe/cosmos ........from scratch without borrowing from what already exist.
Apparently the perfect complex and wonderful cosmos/world/existence we all find ourselves living in - came about by a random explosion and without the assistance from higher intelligence of without cause or plan or purpose..............so how is it that no person with their higher creative intelligence and their conscious mind can design a completely new creation which of course must be many times better than the present one because they have consciousness to assist them and the present creation did not.
Yes ........atheism is defeated and God certainly exists.
And now - to continue to declare God non-existence is criminal.
Before it was just simply dishonest and foolish.
Nothing can save atheism now.......unless you want to display your criminality in this forum for all to see.

Interesting claim, Dasa. However I think one of the strengths of this forum is that there are several thoughtful and well read atheists contributing to a wide range of threads. Reports of their demise or the demise of the points of view that they espouse - are premature, I feel. 🙂

How would the fact that we have to “borrowing from what already exist” to design ( I take the word “design” here to mean both design AND make ) something logically mean that an conscious intelligence DESIGNED the pristine world/universe/cosmos before we came into existence?
Explain to us what is the logical contradiction between us having to borrow from what already exist to design something and there being NO conscious intelligence that 'designed' the pristine world/universe/cosmos before we came into existence....
( and this isn't even to mention the fact that there is absolutely no evidence that the original world/universe/cosmos was intelligently designed )
also, if I design a truly original piece of software in a truly original computer language that I also designed myself, exactly WHAT would I be “borrowing from what already exist” to make that piece of software that was desgned by some kind of higher supernatural intelligence?
