Harry Potter is a story (just like the bible) and no matter how much
you practice those spells aint gonna work.
I remember when the first role playing games came out. Dungeons and Dragons was the big one in high school. If anyone remembers, sitting around a table playing with dice, keeping notes, and the game played out in peoples minds. Remember how it advanced, and new books were printed with all sorts of spells. Some people took to the games in a serious way. Trying to actually cast spells to rid their opponents. Meaning get rid of the people themselves versus the character of the game.

Unbelievers, walking in the misery of your minds, dead spiritually.
I'm not walking in anyone's mind - miserably or not.

And we are all unbelievers aren't we?

I don't believe in demons and hobgoblins.

You don't believe in logic and common-sense.

Those people were/are as deluded as you thinking that
Harry Potter "teaches" how to cast spells.

Spells are make-believe.
It's for children!!!!

I'm not telling you to go find out for yourself, meaning spells, or anything demonic. There is a certain level of protection for being innocent. But be carefull in your innocents.

As a child i thought as a child. But i am an adult, and prudence is a must.
Whatever age you are, you are nieve. You don't have to be a christain to comprehend, there is a darkness. It doesn't care what faith or anti-faith you are.

Thanks. I am familiar with those passages. I get the feeling that there is more to it than that according to Pudgenik's experience.
In deeper comprehension of the scripture, you will find that it is a living growing word. When we were young bible thumpers, every word was taken litterally. But as time passes, we see it is much more than a litteral word. It is a living word, a spiritual word.
i.e. A number of christains will say the Jews are not saved unless they accept Jesus as Lord. Yet the scripture states. When the Jews were in the desert, for those 40yrs. The Rock, which Moses struck, was Jesus. And the Jews, even though they did not comprehend Jesus (or know of Him), still drink the water from that Rock. You see, they drank the Living Water of Christ. And Jesus Himself says to Love God with all your heart. I'm telling you those Jews who loved God with all there heart, (even not knowing Christ in thier head) are saved already.

It is the same with the full armor of God. It is a living thing. It is the Word of God living in you. It is Jesus alive in you, and Jesus flowing though you. You become a vessel of God

Long enough to reach out to the likes of you. Sometimes I struggle to obey the Lord and have compassion on the likes of you, but I will get there.[/b]
Checkbaiter, think of Wolfgang59 as Gods thorn. He does a good job of it.

I am not "faith" or "anti-faith" I'm just questioning your opinion
that Harry Potter books "teach" how to cast spells!

1. Do you believe in magic?

2. Do you really think the HP stories teach folk to cast spells?

3. REALLY???????????

I take this as a compliment.
I have no problem with anyone of any religion ...
... until they spout unjustifiable nonsense.

You are a disgrace to yourselves, your families and your religion.

Avada Kedavra

Surely just about everything in any religion is unjustifiable nonsense? Why is belief in demons any more delusional than belief in a god?

..... and why even bother with an online spirituality forum; it's a colossal waste of time?

Yes, I often wonder why you come here. You keep starting new threads with questions, but never listen to the answers, then you come back a few weeks later to ask the same question again.

I find Grampy Bobby extreemly intellectual. And at times for me hard to follow his thinking. But i have read replys of others to his comments and they understand him well.
This is a spirituality forum of many opinions and many levels of comprehention, faith and knowledge. Just because i may not agree with some does not mean they are not welcome. All are welcome here.

The H.P. movies, (never read the books) i find entertaining, just like twilight. It is important for me as a parent to teach my children that these movies are just entertainment.
I do not believe in magic, however, some people do manipulate demons. These people think of it as magic. Truth is the demons allow themselves to be used, but in to end the user themselves become the victim. Think of it as a casino. It teases you into thinking you can be a winner, but in the end (unless you have a strong will) the casino wins.
