Because Christ has won every victory over the Devil, man attached firmly to Christ can partake of that victory. It is the utter firmness of this attachment which is the battle ground. This is why there is dispute of believers being God-men.

The apparent concern is reverence for God. But this is a façade. In the spiritual realm you can see this because we have atheists seeming to be upset for God's glory that the term "God-men" would be used.

Behind the scenes, in the spiritual realm this is not so much fighting to protect God's sanctity. Rather it is fighting to keep God and man apart.

Christ came for an utter mingling of God and man. How ever could one describe the mutual indwelling of Christ in the Father and the Christians in Christ and Christ in them except by the word "mingling." Its a good word.

"In that day you will know that I am in My Father, and you in Me, and I in you." (John 14:20)

Read the whole thing Mr Satan-man. Jesus and God is only going to be mingling with those who KEEP THE COMMANDMENTS.

At that day ye shall know that I am in my Father, and ye in me, and I in you. He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him. (John 14:20-21 KJV)

Those who keep the commandments can become God-men and mingle with God and Christ. Those who promote disobedience to the commandments, like you, are going to be mingling with Satan in the lake of fire.

So the triune God is the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit - the three. That is the three-one.

Why would we say "four-in-one"?

1.) The Father is in the Christians - "One God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all." (Eph. 4:6)

So the Father is in them.

2.) The Son is in them - "In that day you will know that I am in My Father and you in Me and I in you." (John 14:20).

So the Son is in the Christians. And the Son is also in the Father.
So the Son and the Father are indwelling the Christians.

3.) The Spirit is in the Christians. For it is by the Spirit that the Father and the Son CAN be in the Christians.

" . . . if indeed that Spirit of God dwells in you, Yet if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ he is not of Him. But if Christ is in you . . . " (See Rom. 8:9,10)

What a mixing up this is. What a interpenetration of the Triune God and His people. What a mingling. And what a "four-in-one" incorporation between the Triune God and His church.

What is the dispute over? It may appear that the concern is that God's otherness and separateness be preserved.

"How dare you speak of God-men."

"How dare you speak of four-in-one"

We have now an atheist up-in-arms apparently upset for the sacrilege of using such expressions. Actually, I believe what is really going on in the spiritual realm behind the apparent is the battle to keep God and man APART.

Christ did not just come that sinners be forgiven. Christ came to duplicate what He was as God-man into a corporate entity called the church. And she is more than forgiven. She is firmly attached to Christ and an expansion of Christ.

Once again, God would not have the ONE unique God-man abide alone. God would that He die and resurrect and reproduce many sons of God like Him.

"Truly, truly, I say to you, Unless the grain of wheat falls into the ground and dies it abides alone; but if it dies it bears much fruit." (John 12:24)

Through the centuries the spiritual battle has been raging that the "much fruit" would not come into being.

The dispute is about how someone like you, who promotes a Satanic doctrine of mouth worship and disobedience to the commandments, want to mingle with God and become a God man. Satan men cannot be God men.

What a great revival is happening today. It is a revival of people realizing that we are God-men. Christ in His second coming comes leading many sons into the expression of the Divine Being.

The only-begotten comes into the inhabited earth this time leading MANY SONS into the expression of the divine infused into men and women.

"And when He brings again the Firstborn into the inhabited earth . . . " (Heb. 1:6a).

See, Jesus Christ comes this second time in His status as the Firstborn among many brothers. Down through the centuries He has collected those mature in Him to amass an army to take the earth out of the hands of Satan. From quantity He has gathered QUALITY.

Here He is leading many sons into this glory.

"For it was fitting for Him, for whom are all things and through whom are all things, in leading many sons into glory, to make the Author of their salvation . . . ." (Heb. 1:10)

The Author of their great salvation comes like Joshua. He leads many sons into the expression of God-men.

Hebrews 1: 10 says

And, Thou, Lord, in the beginning hast laid the foundation of the earth; and the heavens are the works of thine hands: (Hebrews 1:10 KJV)

These constant mistakes and Satanic false doctrines are annoying.

Okay, here's the thing, and I'm going to speak frankly now. It is not atheists here who lead Christians astray but 'other' Christians who slip under their radar with false teachings. (The proverbial wolf in sheep's clothing).

Christians who give you some leeway due to your shared Christianity are doing themselves a disservice. They are cutting you some slack with your heretical beliefs when really they should recognize them for the spiritual threat they are and rejecting them thoroughly (as they would do with atheistic beliefs). You offer Christians something familiar and so they are open to it without looking at the detail. So, for example, when you bring Lee's belief in the deification of man (even if he dodges the word deification) Christians sort of shrug and say, well yes the holy spirit does change and rebalance us from the inside. so we do sort of become one with God. But the teaching is NOT that benign. Lee actually wants to include man in the Godhead, to become God, to be a four in one deity.

God does not want this! God wants us to be humble and reverent. - "Why do you call me good?" Jesus answered. "No one is good--except God alone."

God actually goes to great lengths to quash man's arrogance in desiring to become gods theselves. (The Folly of Babel for instance).

Well put.

Why do so many religious people (and conspiracy theorists) feel the need to convert other people to their beliefs rather than listening to those others and what they have to say and in doing so possibly learn something new.

A Publish Statement from Fuller Theological Seminary about
false accusations leveled at the ministry Watchman Nee and Witness Lee and their co-workers.

Like noble Bereans in the book of Acts, rather than feed off of rumors,
those qualified to examine Christian doctrines carefully STUDIED the books of Nee and Lee to see their level of orthodoxy.

Expect now whinings about spamming and pasting as excuses to not read. Its all on ONE PAGE.

Can you tell us about any non-false accusations that have been levelled at the Watchman Nee and Witness Lee ministry? Just one?

A Cheerful Defense against complaints about our teaching about the Triune God.

The Triune God is revealed in the Bible with language selected by the Holy Spirit. Therefore, our understanding and utterance of the Triune God should remain within the boundaries of biblical terminology. In contrast to the terminology of theology, councils, and creeds, biblical terminology is God’s own expression and revelation of Himself in His Word; hence biblical terminology is the highest available revelation of the Triune God. To remain biblical in our understanding, utterance, and experience concerning the Triune God, we must speak the way the Bible speaks. The particular way the Scripture speaks of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit not only reveals the fact that God is triune, but also conveys the exact sense and meaning of man’s experience of Him.

Objective third parties and expert witnesses speak about the local churches and the ministry of Witness Lee.

Dr. J. Gordon Melton— An Open Letter Concerning the Local Church, Witness Lee and “The God-Men” Controversy

Trolls take the lazy way. Gossip and repeat debunk conspiracy theories and false accusations. You will be right in line with the trend of many today.

People with more integrity may examine Responses to Criticisms

Sample explanation

In 2007 an open letter appeared on the Internet calling on Living Stream Ministry and the local churches to “disavow and cease to publish” certain statements by Witness Lee. The two books in the series A Defense of the Gospel: Responses to an Open Letter from “Christian Scholars and Ministry Leaders” (1) and 2 answer the concerns raised in that 2007 open letter and show the defects in its handling of important biblical truths.

Some will complain saying "But discuss it here on the Forum" which I have done.
And incorrect accusations are simply recycled and re-used with no sense of paying attention to responses.
