dont blame it on the goodtimes

blame it on the demons.
It depends stellspalfie.

I did not say blame any and all and everything on foul spirits. Did I ?
I did not even say I blamed evil spirits for the sheer stupidity of doing drugs off of the street.

Just the suicide part.
No need to run off with blanket generalizations.

Besides, if I am wrong ? No big deal.

Or just a bad trip.[/b]
Every substance abuse trip is a "bad trip" out of sheer stupidity.

Let's go back to talking about Christ.

You skeptics just love to dwell on bad stuff gazing intently at the negative for all its worth.

Demons schmemons. Forget it. Sorry I made the comment.

Every time I am very near to my death but survive, I realize that I wasn't near my death at all, it was just an illusion.
It seems so fatal in that statement. To me it should read, every day I am nearer to my own life, to the fullness that i can be.

Everyday i am in my life in Christ who lives in me.

Do Not Go Gentle into That Good Night

Do not go gentle into that good night,
Old age should burn and rave at close of day;
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.

Though wise men at their end know dark is right,
Because their words had forked no lightning they
Do not go gentle into that good night.

Good men, the last wave by, crying how bright
Their frail deeds might have danced in a green bay,
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.

Wild men who caught and sang the sun in flight,
And learn, too late, they grieved it on its way,
Do not go gentle into that good night.

Grave men, near death, who see with blinding sight
Blind eyes could blaze like meteors and be gay,
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.

And you, my father, there on the sad height,
Curse, bless, me now with your fierce tears, I pray.
Do not go gentle into that good night.

Rage, rage against the dying of the light.

By Dylan Thomas

Comment: Though I appreciate literary aspects of this well known poem,
Thomas' futility and fearful attitude toward death certainly aren't mine.

No, we are simply trying to understand why you believe such obviously irrational things - and hopefully also help you to understand that they are irrational beliefs.

Don't be afraid to defend your beliefs. If you believe something you should be able to explain why you believe it - or you should consider changing your beliefs.

Or Mount Saint Helen🙂

My little encounter with a deer was traumatic but at no time was I thinking 'this is the end' since I was at least still moving albeit slowly so I guess that incidence doesn't count as a NDE.

Didn't the policeman who commented on the hood thankfully flying up to cover the windshield think it was a close call?

P.S. Dave with Enterprise called today and is happy you're okay.

Afraid to defend my beliefs ?
If you haven't noticed perhaps some have, that I am not.
I do, however, select priorities.
