I've answered this before. The answer hasn't changed.

You're not fooling anyone FMF. We both know that was the first time I asked you that question and we also both know why you are dodging it.

I don’t think anyone ought to let themselves be fooled by what is going on here.

Indeed. It seems lying to get out of a tight spot doesn't bother you in the least.

What "tight spot"? What "lying"?

I am not "lying" at all. And you don't have me in any kind of "tight spot".

Lying about lying is also fine for someone with no moral absolutes I imagine?

My belief is that murder is "evil" for the reasons I have given. If someone else thinks murder is not "evil", then that person and I obviously disagree about whether or not murder is "evil". Were you unable to discern that from what I said?

Maybe you should take a deep breath and read my question again.

If there are no moral absolutes why would it even really matter if you did lie?

I don't need to. You have asked variants of it countless times. You know what my stance is. I don’t need to restate it. Another example is homosexual sex. You think it's immoral for the reasons you have given. And I don't think it's immoral for the reasons I have given. It doesn't matter to me if you think that I am not "correct".

Your side of this conversation seems to have deteriorated into simply calling me a liar.

We have discussed the morality of deceit before as you know. I refer you to that.

Since there are no moral absolutes I guess any lie is morally acceptable as long as you can rationalize it. I guess that really applies to any action. I see apathist was even rationalizing rape on another thread.
