@Ghost-of-a-Duke
Well let me think. Before I got off work, I had to actually work. Having to remount a door back on my car. Went to the restroom probably 6 times. Had PT come today to help me with my PT from my surgery. for an hour, Helped cook dinner as my wife had to work over time. An then just a bunch of little things called LIFE!!!!
So no not really. But guess ...[text shortened]... bottom of things I have to spend time on..... I have a life unlike all of you seem to not have!!!!!
@Ghost-of-a-Duke saidI can totally see this.
@galveston75
'In the original Hebrew language, God’s name as revealed to Moses at the burning bush is rendered as YHWH—or Yahweh, meaning “I Am.” Ancient Hebrew was a consonantal language (no vowels). Out of reverence for God, faithful Jews would not even speak his name, so when YHWH was written in the biblical scrolls, the scribes would write the markings for the ...[text shortened]... y promoting a corrupted form of it. It's like the KJ bible substituting LORD (yes, in all caps) for YHWH.
@Ghost-of-a-Duke saidThis is a baseline belief in most of Christianity.
@galveston75
Charles Russell believed Jesus retained his divinity and should be worshipped.
"It seems clear that His Divinity was retained in humanity because He repeatedly spoke of Himself as having come down from heaven, and because He, though passing through trial and sorrow as a man, was yet possessed of the authority and exercised the prerogatives of a God. ...[text shortened]... saith, "And let all the angels of God worship Him." Heb. 1:6.'

@KellyJay saidThis is amazingly hypocritical.
You are being very disingenuous here, of all the things in life God is the most important bar none, do you agree? I do, I believe getting what our thoughts are about God through the revelation He has given us in scripture, the universe, and the teachings of the Holy Spirit means we are pouring ourselves into this to understand Him.
If the truth is important, then error m ...[text shortened]... change, it is our desires that must change, and we must repent when we know or we embrace falsehood.
@galveston75 saidVerses like these still do not validate your hubris.
Any idea of what is being said at Prov 4:18, or 1 Cor 2:10, or 1 Pet 2:12? Let me know......
@Ghost-of-a-Duke saidSeriously? Unbelievable. Maybe just don't read what I post as I would hate to upset you.....
In the time it took you to write that post you could have simply answered the question put to you.
@galveston75 saidThis is profoundly hypercritical as you routinely fail to answer questions put to you, presumably as you lack the ability/intelligence to do so.
So no response to my question in explaining those scriptures?
Do you realise this approach makes you look weak and insecure regarding your own beliefs?
@Ghost-of-a-Duke saidIf you would actually take the time or even better yet, use some discernment in reading ALL my post on this thread, I have answered over and over trying to answer for you. It doesn't work and never will if you are not looking for the answers from the entire bible, not just a scripture or two that you "think" says what you want to believe.

And you have done the same thing over and over with my questions to you...you don't answer them. So I guess you have the problem, not me.
So unless one day you, like a couple others here are able to think about the Bible, pray to Jehovah through Jesus and are actually willing to learn what it says as a whole...I can't help you.
@galveston75
Thought I'd try again. I'm shocked that so far no one can see the connections. There are actually more scriptures that can be used here in explaining this....
(Any idea of what is being said at Prov 4:18, or 1 Cor 2:10, or 1 Pet 2:12? Let me know......)
@galveston75 saidYou have answered none of the questions put to you. By far you are the most evasive and religiously insecure poster in this forum. Nothing outside of your small bubble of comfort is up for discussion or scrutiny.

Like all JWs (and members of other cults) you only want to discuss particular passages you have been indoctrinated on. - It is blatantly obvious you lack the ability and confidence to think independently.
@galveston75 saidNo, I just don't see how they apply to you, or any JW for that matter.
