Had PT come today to help me with my PT from my surgery. for an hour, Helped cook dinner as my wife had to work over time. An then just a bunch of little things called LIFE!!!!
So no not really. But guess what? This forum is on the bottom of things I have to spend time on..... I have a life unlike all of you seem to not have!!!!!

'In the original Hebrew language, God’s name as revealed to Moses at the burning bush is rendered as YHWH—or Yahweh, meaning “I Am.” Ancient Hebrew was a consonantal language (no vowels). Out of reverence for God, faithful Jews would not even speak his name, so when YHWH was written in the biblical scrolls, the scribes would write the markings for the vowel sounds a-o-a for the word adonai (Lord) directly over YHWH so that anyone reading the scroll would know to say adonai rather than Yahweh. - Along comes a Catholic monk and, seeing the vowel markings over YHWH, thought they were part of the actual spelling of God’s name and thus combined YHWH with a-o-a, making YaHoWaH, which eventually became “Jehovah.”

So every time JWs insist on the use of God’s name, they are actually promoting a corrupted form of it. (Based on an error made by a Catholic monk).

Charles Russell believed Jesus retained his divinity and should be worshipped.

"It seems clear that His Divinity was retained in humanity because He repeatedly spoke of Himself as having come down from heaven, and because He, though passing through trial and sorrow as a man, was yet possessed of the authority and exercised the prerogatives of a God. He was the object of unreproved worship even when a babe, by the wise men who came to see the new-born King. Matt. 2:2-11. Even the angels delighted to do Him honor. "When He bringeth the first-begotten into the world, He saith, "And let all the angels of God worship Him." Heb. 1:6.'

In 1876, Charles Russell, founder of the Jehovah's Witnesses, predicted that Christ would return in 1914. Since that prophecy failed, the society has predicted at least seven other dates when Armageddon would occur.

The Jehovah’s Witnesses also quietly abandoned a prediction that people alive in 1914 would live to see Christ’s kingdom on Earth--a major doctrine that lent urgency to the sect’s door-to-door warnings that a bloody end of the world is imminent.

You are being very disingenuous here, of all the things in life God is the most important bar none, do you agree? I do, I believe getting what our thoughts are about God through the revelation He has given us in scripture, the universe, and the teachings of the Holy Spirit means we are pouring ourselves into this to understand Him.

If the truth is important, then error must be thrown out as fast as possible so we can embrace the truth. If we choose lies and mistakes, we can bend them, mold them, and turn them inside and out because unlike the truth they can mean anything we want them to mean. While encountering the truth is quite different, because we, not reality, must change! Once we know we are wrong it is our points of view that have to change, it is our desires that must change, and we must repent when we know or we embrace falsehood.

Well said. And knowing these basic facts is something everyone here should do. It would also be great as we are all grown humans, that we would stop these silly immature attacks which do nothing to encourage all of us to test the scriptures and learn.
God purposefully had the Bible written in such a way that no human can just pick it up and learn all that is in there. It is only by honesty in our minds, and humbleness in our hearts that one can in time truly learn, but only with God's help.
If one has a heart that is not one that God wants, you will not learn other then the basics and not the deeper things. And one has to know that you probably don't know it all.
And one has to ask him for help in understanding things that if influenced by mans pagan teachings, may not be as they seem even. The Bible says that when the time comes that "most humans would follow the broad and spacious way which leads to death" but that "only a few would follow the narrow way to life."
That is a warning from God (Jehovah) in re guards to mankind's future. If one is following the majority of the worlds religious teachings that have even the slightest influence of a false pagan doctrine in it, one should test it by scripture and make serious adjustments.
If one is not learning daily, something is wrong....
