Read this scripture and comment on it for me.... John 3:17

17 For God did not send his Son into the world for him to judge the world, but for the world to be saved through him.

-Removed-
I don't believe I've said that was Jehovah it was referring too. The question is what happened to Jesus that gave him this importance to us humans? Think on this.....
Did not our original human father Adam loose the chance for all humans to live forever? He was "flesh" was he not?
Now most know Jesus had to become "flesh" and remain faithful in all things to his Father Jehovah which he did until his death?
Right? You with me so far?
For the fact that he did this, the ransom now gives all humans the chance to gain back the eternal life Adam lost for us all.
Am I loosing you yet?
Hopefully not?
So then ( it is Jesus death and it's benefit that CAN save us) depending on the relationship with Jesus and more importantly with his Father.
First if one does not recognize Jesus for who he is and what he did for us, there is no salvation ever.
But one also has to recognize his Father who is Jehovah who sent his only begotten son for us or else there will be no salvation for them.

Amen. 😉 🙂

What about the Holy Spirit? I once had a conversation with someone who told me that the Holy Spirit told him that He was deeply saddened because no one hardly prayed to Him. Of course this person started directing many of their prayers to the Holy Spirit seeing that he was such a good Christian; in his own mind anyway.
What say you?

See it as you see it.....

The problem with most like yourself is a really serious one. You do not recognize God's name or use it. You say those scriptures like those and others do not apply to JW's and that Jehovah does not even exist We know he does...... No one on the planet does which is so sad.

If you would really like to learn those scriptures and hundreds of o ...[text shortened]... that pertain to Jehovah..... Here ya go.

https://www.jw.org/en/search/?q=a+people+for+his+name
Yeah, tell a Christian that they think God doesn't exist. Or even that "no one on the planet" thinks God exists.

Not a great strategy there.

Those verses that you claim refer to JWs do not. They refer to actual God's children who are moved by the Holy Spirit, which you don't even recognize. They also do not refer to fake Christians, who are all talk and do not walk the walk.

You do know that the Jews (God's actual chosen people, not you clowns) did not presume to call God by some imagined "real name" out of sheer respect, right? (No, "Jehovah" was NOT removed by Christians in the King James, despite your mythology. And speaking of your mythology, I'm not reading your JW links.)

You would do well to read John 3 in its entirety, and while you're at it avoid confusion and don't use the NWT.

Exodus 3:14
God said to Moses, “I am who I am. This is what you are to say to the Israelites: ‘I am has sent me to you.’”

Saying "I am" is saying something very important when it comes to God.
So why didn't Jesus talk about Jehovah at all in any gospel?
If it is as important as you are making it out to be, why did Jesus "I am" instead of saying something like Jehovah is my Father?

John 6:51
I am the living bread that came down from heaven.
John 8:12
When Jesus spoke again to the people, he said, “I am the light of the world.
John 8:58
“Very truly I tell you,” Jesus answered, “before Abraham was born, I am!”
John 10:7
Therefore Jesus said again, “Very truly I tell you, I am the gate for the sheep.
John 10:11
“I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep.
John 11:25
Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die;
John 13:13
“You call me ‘Teacher’ and ‘Lord,’ and rightly so, for that is what I am.
John 13:19
“I am telling you now before it happens, so that when it does happen you will believe that I am who I am.
John 14:6
Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.
John 14:20
On that day you will realize that I am in my Father, and you are in me, and I am in you.
John 15:1
“I am the true vine, and my Father is the gardener.
John 15:5
“I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing.

@KingDavid403
Well what does the bible say? That is our guide and it tells us very clearly who to pray too..... Jesus also told us. ?????

Wow. Lol. The more you post the more unbelievable it gets. Not worth the time to respond. Sorry.

Oh my..... Amazing how you use all the scriptures and you don't even realize they all contradict what you think they say....

You know why? The light has not become brighter in understanding them. Why not?

John 6:51
I am the living bread that came down from heaven. ( Yes he is. His flesh was represented at the evening meal with bread that he broke. ) So what is your point?

John 8:12
When Jesus spoke again to the people, he said, “I am the light of the world. ( Yes he is by his direction he gives those accepting it from Jehovah. ) What's your point?

John 8:58
“Very truly I tell you,” Jesus answered, “before Abraham was born, I am!”
John 10:7 ( Yes he was created long before Abraham existed. ) So what's your point?

Therefore Jesus said again, “Very truly I tell you, I am the gate for the sheep.
John 10:11 ( Yes he is.) What's your point?

“I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep.
John 11:25 ( Yes he is. ) What's your point?

Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die;
John 13:13 ( Yes because of his resurrection those who have died will be resurrected to be judged by their actions afterward. )

“You call me ‘Teacher’ and ‘Lord,’ and rightly so, for that is what I am.
John 13:19 ( Lol. Yes he is called that.) What's your point?

“I am telling you now before it happens, so that when it does happen you will believe that I am who I am.
John 14:6 Same answer..what's your point?

Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.
John 14:20 ( Now read and read again what this scriptures says....It's in black and white right in front of your eyes)......... (((((((( "No one comes to the Father except through me". ))))))))) He is saying we can only talk to Jehovah if we pray thru Jesus. It does not say he ( Jesus ) is God Almighty, never anywhere in the Bible is Jesus called God Almighty. Geeeezzzz.

On that day you will realize that I am in my Father, and you are in me, and I am in you.
John 15:1 What is this not saying? Jesus makes the comment we are in him, right? So are we God too? Of course not, but yet if you think this is saying Jesus is God, then we are too by your reckoning. Geeezzzz.

The next two are not saying anything about Jesus being God Almighty......................

“I am the true vine, and my Father is the gardener.
John 15:5
“I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing.

I pray to Jesus; who is the Father, Savior Son, and Holy Spirit all rapped in ONE God.
I am also Baptized in the Name of Jesus as God tells me to do.

Either way, I cannot judge your relationship with Christ aka God; as you cannot judge others in their progressive relationship with God.
I think that you are genuine in your beliefs and you do have good things to add; however, I personally feel you are off a little bit, as others here also think.
I do not believe our different views has salvation on the line for either of us. If you do, I think you are incorrect.

No one is saying the Father is not God, but no one is going to use the words, “I am” who is Jewish and not understand what that means.

Just as if your claim were true why didn’t Jesus say it? The Word of God made flesh, in the beginning Jesus was not only with God, but is God.

Do not add to the scriptures by adding an “a” as you did when you said Jesus was “a god.”

Take scriptures as is, without adding or subtracting from them.

What is he saying when he says he is the "Word"?
