Point blank.... if someone accepts any form of evolution, they are not a TRUE Christian. It can't happen! The Bible clearly says God CREATED all life according to it's kind. Not some pot luck mixed up pond scum that wiggled into all the like we see on earth.

Of course you won't, creationism requires a a god to do the creating. Fact of the matter is, many people who believe in God; in one form or another, accept evolution.

A true Christian would accept the words in the Holy Bible as true.
The Holy Bible says God created the heavens and the earth.
If a person said he was a atheist and also believed that God
ceated the heavens and the earth, wouldn't you suspect that
he might NOT be a true atheist?

And why would you think it's ok for ones who say they believe the bible but then believe in something that contradicts it? How can that possible make sense to you?

Most educated people understand the evidence that undermines the stories, make a note of that word there it's important, contained in the OT. They have therefore concluded they are allegories and are not to be taken literally.

That doesn't make any sense.

If an atheist declared that God 'made the heavens and earth', that would surely disqualify them from being an atheist?!

Oh so the old "educated" card being played...Lol. So if it's only educated people who believe in evolution then why would they still believe somewhat in the Bible too? Are they only half educated?
I remember a whole nation of very well educated people that were pretty much as a whole atheist and that prospered very well for a time period a few decades ago. Let's see..who were they? Oh yeah, Germany and their leader Hitler! Really educated weren't they.

For goodness sake read my post thoroughly. I didn't mention evolution you did, secondly i said 'most' educate people, not all. I also said the 'stories' in the Bible and even told you to take note of that word. By stories i mean the 'whole kit and caboodle' not one isolated part.

But as an atheist, I generally accept anyone who says they follow Christs teaching has the right to call themselves Christian. This includes everything from the few people like you that believe every word in the Bible, the vast majority of those claiming to be Christian who believe that much of the Bible is allegory, stories, or outright wrong, and a not insignificant number of atheists.

You know for ones who follow Christ teachings from one degree to another and if they try to apply even a part of the morals and principles and guidelines to their life's, are usually pretty good and decent people. Sometimes.
But the point here is it ok to be a part time Christian when it comes to letting other ideals, theories , beliefs and concepts such as evolution which does contradict with the Bible, into their everyday lifes is an ok thing to do?
Yes we have to learn and have a good knowledge of the world around us even when it comes to subjects that are against the Bible. We have to know these reasonably well to know what the dangers are if and when they exist.
But once a Christian knows these dangers and should remember all the scriptures that explain clearly that Satan is the ruler of this world and would be behind anything that is in opposition to him and his word the Bible, that Christian would safly distance himself from that influance.
And to even slightly favor a theory such as evolution and decide that certian parts of the Bible are just stories and not real would disqualify one as a Christian.
Being "luke warm" in ones devotion is something detestable to God.
