I was taking a lead from Dive on forgiveness.

Something I usually struggle with.

I’ve asked you not to discuss my mother. You’ve refused to respect my request.

You have made a general request that people not discuss your mother. I will respect that.

That’s the difference between me and you. I have class and you don’t.
Was it classy to mock a person for an act of generosity?

Not only are you still using his birth mother's suicide as forum banter, you are now suggesting that divegeester is lying about his childhood and the job done by the mother and father who raised him. This is your forum nadir.
Did you not read this post?

<<Well, that ought to end that - for anyone of any decency.>>

It’s only a couple of posts before yours.

You just won’t let it go. My “banter” has consisted entirely of saying I don’t think Becker had ill intent in mentioning this in light of dive’s obsession with posting about my mother and saying people should drop it.

You’re keeping this subject alive for the sole purpose of trolling. You’ve made your point - several times, in fact. Why not just let it go?

Do you have no respect for the person who died?

Well, you’re wrong. I think people ought to let the subject drop.

If you and FMF want to keep posting about it, just leave me out of it.

Feel free to no longer discuss me or my mother. I’d really appreciate it.

Try to stick to substance.

I request that you stop posting about my mother or mentioning her. Will you honor that request?

I mocked him for grandstanding about it.

Genuine question. As a Christian, should you be 'mocking' for any reason?

Edit: Actually you originally mocked him for struggling to work out how to pay for someone else's subscription.

Yes, and I think that was simply done to highlight his $15 contribution. His “struggle” could just as easily have been resolved in a discrete manner unless, of course, he wanted to call attention to it.

Understand, tiger?
