And in some cases, it is best to forgiveness and part ways.
    I also advocate corrective rehabilitation, however I do believe that there should also be a punishment component in any social consequence. Otherwise the deterrent effect is lost.

    I don't agree that it is a fact that love and hate go together. This is not my experience at all.
