The Instructor
NOBODY should be taking over the government and making rules that satisfy a particular minority. What if it was decided EVERYONE had to wear pink polkadot colored top hats or be kicked out of town? You can't have one minority making rules that are abhorrent to the majority and that is exactly what you would propose, the people who insist on teaching creation in a science class are in the vast minority and getting to be a smaller minority every year so YES, I would be happy if you just crawled into a corner and all your buddies keep quiet, maybe form your own colony on Vancouver Island and teach all the stupid fairy tales you want in a science class, just don't try to foist that crap on thinking people.

This is unacceptable too. Why should children who have the misfortune of
being born into a religious household be indoctrinated with lies?

Christians: Do you think it fair that little children are taught Islam?

"islamizising" I find very insulting since people are being killed for this, so
to have even the worse Christians who want laws changed do not equal
that in the least. If you find the comparison no big deal I beg to differ.

As long as the law doesn't break the constitutional rights of the people. We live in a democratic republic.
That's what the Supreme Court is for. To determine whether or not a law passed by congress is constitutional.

It appears there's an agenda.

Fair to be taught the belief of the family to the children? Why wouldn't that
be fair? Who are you or I to tell another what they can and cannot teach
their own children. I get that Atheist may resist that, but I don't.

And thus the religious wars go on and on.

Would you think it fair if you had been brought
up in another religion and not known Jesus?

Don't you know how lucky you are?

Am I to understand you are of the opinion that family should not be able
to teach their own children their beliefs?

I don't tell anyone who they have to follow, I'll share the truth as I see it
and believe it to be. That does not force anyone to follow any god or God.
I don't believe that is on par that does not allow someone to teach their
own kids what they believe to be true or false.

I was not raised in a Christian family, no one went to church, not one
studied the Bible, no one talked about God. So your statement does not
apply to me, it may others. I became a Christian at 25 years old.

But parents do tell their kids whom to follow.
It is the only reason religion survives!

Did I use that term, or allude to it? Where?
