    Because:
    - He made us in his own image but we are still imperfect and born in sin.

    - We are not wordy to be HIS only Sons/Daughters only Jesus is but we pose such a threat to his existence (maybe we are just too embarrassing) that he sends his ONLY son to die for our sins; for the ones he has no respect for (btw... with Jesus dead we are still born in sin hence the Church; poor Jesus what a cruel Father he got, actually it was a joke on Jesus cause he got resurrected anyway).

    - He is so insecure about HIS creation that HE has to continuously watch and pass judgment.

    - Being all powerful he rather enjoys when we pay tribute to HIM and beg HIM for things and pray for our salvation and give monetary tribute to HIM. His favorite pastime being to watch us fulfill HIS wishes of us living in joy, pain or suffering according to HIS plan.

    - Off course maybe he is not that powerful and he just thinks HE is the most powerful; else there would be no evil to do away with his holy ways. Maybe HE needs evil to feel “good”.

    - Its so boring up there in the clouds with the white angels and naked virgins (white, white, white) that he needs to see some blood once in a while; you know feel alive, see some action and guess who the performers for his favorite show are, YOU. HE has a reputation to maintain so you know; he cannot do the things we do, but HE can make US do it.

    - Of course he also needs lots of attention, HIS name and that of his ONLY SON must be repeated millions of times a day or he will end our existence even thought that would mean the beginning of another horrifying lonely period of time (with the white angels and off the market Virgins) to just have himself to talk to; a most miserable cruel fate. HE knows he needs more of us than we of him.

Personally I rather not have anything to do with this GOD wannabe. I’ll just take my free will, respect yours (well I might mock you once in a while like right now) and do as I choose. Thank you.

Is there any point in debating any of this with you? Your vision of who God is and what he is like is so far away from the reality that I imagine it would be impossible to get you to see it differently anyway. I don't know? But I do know that you have revealed quite a lot about your own inner state of mind here and very little about God. But hey..you are entitled to your opinion. Just remember , the God I believe in is not the God you don't believe in.

i dont see the point in criticizing God, if you don't believe in him then that is you; you don't have to prove his non-existence.

This is just an expose of the God of many people out there, NOT my God for sure. I love the GOD of free will if there ever was/is such thing.

You know the not so insecure God that has nothing to be ashamed of that does not need to keep vigilant over its creation, don't need to save them from HIMSELF...

Anyway if you do like my free-will God Good if not also Good; I guess I am a little insecure myself for I want other people to believe as I do...

Never said my free-will God made me perfect, just free 🙂

PD. Peace, I love all Gods even the ones I only get to make fun of.

I think we all perfectly respect your freedom of choice to not want God.

What I don't respect is your twistings, your lies, your slanders, your abject ignorance in the teachings of the Bible.

Sure I respect your freedom. Your ignorance however doesn't engender any respect from this Bible reader. Your own mental soundness comes into question as I read through your diatribs.

Seems the pyscho is reading into the Bible the twisted strivings of your own soul.

Why the insinuation that the OP is a psycho?

    - He didn't even mention the fact that your god allows other humans to want to kill other innocent humans in the name of a different god!

    - Nor did he mention that your god *Intelligently Designed* syphillis, AIDS, small-pox etc... to punish even those who do worship him! (he even makes some of his *righteous creations* truly horrific in terms of how much pain the can inflict and the amount of bodily destruction they can bring forth)

    - He didn't mention either that he created a world massively diverse with different creatures...many of which we have to even see, yet we are the only ones that go to heaven or hell??? does everything that isn't human just exist to make us feel special just as your god needs us worshipping him to make himself feel special?

    - He doesn't intervene on behalf of the greater number of free-willed and worshipful innocent people that are slain by individual free-willed and non-worshipping maniacs...couldn't he just strike these people down with a heart-attack or something?

    - He grants us with the mental tools to understand much about our world yet leaves us with a book awash with stories of a physically impossible nature that can only be laughed at by rational skeptics as the sole source of truth...he even lets man write the bloody thing just to make it seem even more ridiculous!!!...he would then banish such skeptics to Hell for not having faith, yeah...what a nice god!!!

I suppose we can deal with these half truths a section at a time.

    *********************************
He made us in his own image but we are still imperfect and born in sin.
    *********************************

Truth: The Bible does say God created man in His image. But man was damaged by the exercise of his free will to do something that caused his whole being to be contaminated and constituted a foreign “poison” against which man was warned.

The “imperfection” of the sinful nature invaded the man created ”very good” (Gen. 1:31) by God in His own image. He had been warned where the line was drawn. Adan stepped over that line and was both polluted with the Satanic evil nature and brought under the authority of God’s advasary.

" ... through one man sin entered into the world, and through sin, death ..." (Rom. 5:12)

The same principle that worked against us in Adam also works for us who believe in Christ and decide to step out of the line of Adam's fall:

"For just as through the disobedience of one man many were constituted sinners, so also through the obedience of the One the many will be constituted righteous" (Rom. 5:19)

    **********************
    - We are not wordy [“worthy”] to be HIS only Sons/Daughters only Jesus is but we pose such a threat to his existence (maybe we are just too embarrassing) that he sends his ONLY son to die for our sins; for the ones he has no respect for (btw... with Jesus dead we are still born in sin hence the Church; poor Jesus what a cruel Father he got, actually it was a joke on Jesus cause he got resurrected anyway).
    **********************

This is kind of jumbled up. But I gather from here the poster is saying a few things:

1.) We sinners are not worthy to be God’s sons and daughters.

Truth: This is is only partially true. Justification and salvation bring the fallen sinners into a state in which they receive God’s Spirit and His divine life. That constitutes them worthy and sons and daughters of God:

” For we are the temple of the living God, even as God said. I will dwell among them and walk among them; and I will be their God and they will be my people … And I will be a Father to you, and you will be sons and daughters to Me, says the Lord Almighty” (See 2 Cor. 6:16-18)

”For you are all sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus” (Gal. 3:26)

”But as many as received Him, to them He gave the authority to become children of God, to those who believe into His name, who were begotten … of God” (See John 1:12,13)

The poster's criticism is a half truth. Only because the s/he does not choose to believe into Christ’s name and receive Christ so that s/he also would be a living temple of God, does the poster refuse the divine life by which s/he could become a son or daughter of God.

2.) Next this ignorant poster makes suggestion that God only wants ONE Son. The Only begotten Son is latter called the Firstborn among many brothers. This of course indicates that it was God’s plan that Christ would be the First Son followed by many sons:

”Because those whom He foreknew, HE also predestinated to be conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be the Firstborn among many brothers” (Rom. 8:29)

In fact the ”sonship” for the created man was something that God planned before the foundation of the world – meaning before the creation of the universe:

”Even as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world to be holy and without blemish before Him in love, predestinating us unto sonship through Jesus Christ to Himself” (Eph. 1:4,5)

The poster in great ignorance fails to realize that sonship of man to God His Father was purposed by the Creator God in His very creation of the universe.

The rest of the poster’s complaint in the second paragraph doesn’t make sense to me. I’m not sure the poster him or herself understand what s/he wrote.

    Two more gems of ignorance:

    *******************
He is so insecure about HIS creation that HE has to continuously watch and pass judgment.
    *******************

He faults God for being perfectly righteous. As if the Cause and Originator of all being and all existing lives should be flawed.

The poster is ignorant that judgement is called God's "strange work" in that is is indeed strange that God should have to judge.
But the freedom with which he has created his creatures yields that possibility that they choose another way besides God's way.

The poster is mad because God is infinite in His wisdom and holy and righteous in His perfection. He prefers that the Originator of all life be flawed and prone to error.

To me it makes perfect sense that the Original Governor of all life and all existence could create us with the ability to choose yet He Himself is perfect in righteousness and in justice.

I would rather spend time to examine how God's great love for man has worked to bring him back from the tragedy of going against the will of Perfection.

    *************
    - Being all powerful he rather enjoys when we pay tribute to HIM and beg HIM for things and pray for our salvation and give monetary tribute to HIM. His favorite pastime being to watch us fulfill HIS wishes of us living in joy, pain or suffering according to HIS plan
    ************

This is a few jumbled up complaints in one paragraph. I think the poster would have to separate out his beefs into distinct arguments to deal with them effectively.

He has jumbled up here some innuendo that God wants my money or that He takes delight in my suffering.

I can't see why God covets his money? My experience is that it is impossible to outgive God. My sending money His way is only a symbol of Him having my heart. "Where your treasure is there your heart will be also" taught Jesus. He doesn't need my cash. He does want my heart. And the giving of some of the money He enables me to earn is a fitting indication of my trust.

I suppose this ignorant poster never turned around at the end of the month to thank God for giving him the health of mind to make a living. He probably rises up in the morning with no sense of thanksgiving whatsoever.

As for me, I have never once been able to out give God. The little that you send towards Him He more than multiplies in supplying back. He seems not interested in the cash but in my trust.

At any rate I try to thank God for giving me soundness of mind and body to go out and make a living. I cheerfully acknowledge that it really all belongs to Him anyway.

The poster continues with more what he considers profound arguments after this.

    **********************************
    Its so boring up there in the clouds with the white angels and naked virgins (white, white, white) that he needs to see some blood once in a while;
    *********************************

Sounds like his his grasp of theology extends about to the depth of Marvel Comics.

    *******************************
you know feel alive, see some action and guess who the performers for his favorite show are, YOU. HE has a reputation to maintain so you know; he cannot do the things we do, but HE can make US do it.
    *********************************

I don't know what the poster is trying to say here.

    ******************

The "lots of attention" to God is for the poster's benefit whose mind has been corrupted by sin.

This is like a man rescued from drowning complaining when mouth to mouth resitation is ministered to save him from death.

"Why are you so hung up on this BREATHING thing? Seems like you just want a lot of attention. Get your mouth off of me! "

I rather consider the words of the hymn writer who wrote:

"Oh Jesus, Jesus dearest Lord, forgive me if I say, For very love your sacred name a thousands times a day."

I turn my attention to Jesus throughout the day because I have a burning love for Him and what He is doing within me. That is ministering divine life and nature into my being moment by moment.

Another writer wrote "Just to breath the name of Jesus is to drink of life indeed"

You don't breath just once or twice. You breath continually. So to breath in the Holy Spirit of God I often call on the name of the Lord Jesus. It is to drink of divine life indeed. If your capacity to love is great then why not love according to your capacity?

My capacity to love God grows with the growing realization that God is everything. What does the poster have to offer me in comparison to God Himself?

If he's dying of boredom then perhaps he should try turning his heart to the God of all creation and beauty. Each moment in the presence of God is beautiful and precious. One feels so clean in the presence of Jesus Christ.

There is no need to go to a cloud up in the sky. In my heart the sky is crystal clear and bright and shinning. "God is light, and in Him is no darkness at all."

I don't look at it that way at all.

I think the two words "image" and "dominion" carry a positive connotation and a negative one. On one side man was created to express God. On the other side man was created to have dominion and crush God's enemy.

God would not fight directly against the rebellious creator Satan. He created man to be in harmony with His will to destroy Satan. So dominion implies to me that God created man also to be in harmony with His plan to crush the ancient rebel.

Satan attacked pre-emptively to save himself. But man was created very good and in a nuetral position between God and Satan.

Of course from the beginning of time man has blamed God. Adam said that the woman God gave him made him err. So you follow the same human trend of the first man to charge God with the fault of man's poor choice.

    Copycat.
