I have recently viewed photos of Jewish men, women and children killed in concentration camps.
Exterminated and starved.
Where was God?
But throughout the history of the Bible other Jewish national tragedies did not stop God from fulfilling His promises.
But one might consider that out of this tragedy came the reformation of the nation of Israel. It was a catalyst to re-establish that biblical nation. And those who study prophecy sat up and took serious notice.
I do not suggest an easy or trite answer to the Holocaust. And the YouTube play "God on Trial" I think is worth watching. It is about some Jewish prisoners of war who conduct a trial with the Holocaust inmates as prosecutor and defense attorney before a panel of three prisoners who act as judges.
I think it is thoughtful and many sided presentation of this tragic matter. I've watched it through twice.

Apathist,
You must be vehemently Pro-Life. Are you?
Don't reach for that cain and hat to dance now.
Seriously God not only has to fulfil the promises to the various Earth groups but all the groups in the universe. I don't think this backwater part of the universe is largely non-important

Which is exactly the same as if your god was not involved.
Dependence on an all powerful government leads to stuff like this. Those in power force their will on society. Sad when people do mot learn from the past.

No. I like not hurting stuff that doesn't need it though. I say first trimester you need abort okay. Moving forward let's work together to prevent unwanted pregnancies.
I suppose you are ok with killing people as long as thereis no pain.

Your second question. wtf. I advocate minimizing pain. Don't crucify people anymore.
