Yours is more dangerous as it could prevent you taking necessary action to save the lives of others. (As given in the example above). Nothing is absolute.
So you think self defence (culpable homicide) is the same as premeditated murder? I said I believe premeditated murder is always wrong.

When you say nothing is absolute, do you mean to say mass murder (as in the case of the holocaust) can ever be morally justifiable?

It's not hard to think of examples where premeditated murder 'isn't' morally wrong, and where such an act would actually save the lives of others. (Once again blowing your 'absolute' nonsense out of the water).

For example, lying in wait for a terrorist walking around with a machine gun, planning on how best to crack him over the head with your baseball bat.
Lying in wait with a baseball bat for a terrorist who is carrying a machine gun. Very rational indeed.

Could happen.

(Preferred your post before the edit. - Guess nothing you write is absolute).

It's all mass murder and torturing babies with you, hey?

Wake me up when you move on to fluffy kittens.

It's no wonder you struggle to sleep at night when you believe torturing fluffy kittens can be justified. 😉

Well, if those kittens were walking around with machine guns...

So anything with a machine gun deserves to be beaten with a baseball bat. Gotcha.

You tell me. You're the one who believes in the great flood.

From your moral standpoint, if a human was responsible for the flood, why would it be wrong?

Which part of 'you tell me' don't you understand?

Desperate times. Btw, when I see people carry and they are not obviously incompetent, I do not feel the opposite of safer. I think I rather like living in an armed community. sheesh we got pea-shooters

The author of life can take it whenever he so pleases. Everyone in our day is going to die, everyone in Noah's day was going to die.

If there is an almighty God, and he has ultimate control over who lives and who dies, then it's not like a human being who goes out and commits genocide. God doesn't commit genocide.

People are going to die anyway, so would there be a reason for God to allow such a spectacular event to happen at that time? An event which would prevent the human race from going down the path it was going down. I think there was.

The whole world was destroying itself. Humanity was killing both itself and God's world. What if the best option was to start again?
