36 Be ye merc ...[text shortened]... Take a gander at Luke 6:37 and tell me again whether you follow Jesus' teachings or not.
Exactly, the multitudes. The UNSAVED multitude. I show you love, no1, but how do I show you what is right unless you know what is wrong?

You're pathetic. He was also speaking to his Apostles; are you better than them, Darfius? Where in the Gospels does it say there are different rules for different groups of mankind? Admit it; you disregard Jesus' CLEAR precise words because YOU want to be special, to be better than others. You are a vain, smug, self-righteous petty man, Darfius and you are certainly no Christian.

Read the Gospels, Darfius: Luke 6: 17 says who he was speaking to:

17 and he came down with them, and stood on a level place, and a great multitude of his disciples, and a great number of the people from all Judaea and Jerusalem, and the sea coast of Tyre and Sidon, who came to hear him, and to be healed of their diseases;

"A great multitude of his disciples" and others; no different message, the same for all. And for YOU too.

Why are you so irrational? And why won't you answer my MLK post?

Until he does, I'd like everyone to refer back to it and see why everything no1 has been saying is 100% wrong and silly.

Like Jesus had one set of teachings for everybody while you claim He had two; one for everybody else and a different one for your Fundamentalist cult? Who's being silly there, Darfius?

Your claim is pure conjecture. I want a specific passage that backs up your claim, not a passage of Jesus saying good works are good.

I've quoted more words of Jesus in the last few hours then you've quoted your whole time at RHP! The words are there in Matthew 25; in the story of the rich man; in Luke 6 and many other places, but you refuse to believe the words of Jesus! You, a Christian? Ridiculous!

Matthew 25:40 40 And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye did it unto one of these my brethren, even these least, ye did it unto me.

You misunderstand (on purpose) I want a specific passage that states good works and good works ALONE get you into Heaven.

And why doesn't Matthew 25 qualify? ALL it speaks about are acts of charity and mercy to your fellow man gaining you eternal salvation; NOTHING NOT ONE WORD is mentioned about faith. I would say it clearly states that good works get you into Heaven, period. Point to me somewhere in Matthew 25 where it says differently.

It says good works are a result of being righteous and being righteous is a result of being saved through faith.

It says no such thing; you are deliberately bearing false witness against Jesus. Certainly no Christian would do that, Darfius.

One or the other, of that we can be certain. 😉
