I've seen you act unkind to others, you realize Jesus said that even calling someone a fool puts you in danger.
What on earth are you on about now? We are talking about "evil". What are you talking about now? There was something I posted on this forum you didn't like?

If there isn't a true scale by which we can compare our righteousness to, how would you know if you are falling short or not?
"Falling short" of what?

I think I'll just leave you to your opinions.

No one has said He justified “their evil” He justifies the unjust, to restore their lives in Him.
FMF: So all Christians are "evil"?

KellyJay: In our own righteousness yes, as we abide in Christ Jesus He forgives, He justifies.

So, let's be clear...

Christians are "evil".

Non-Christians are "evil".

Everybody is "evil".

Christians are "evil" but they believe they are "forgiven" because they believe that Jesus "forgives" them.

There is no obligation for Christians to struggle to be NOT "evil" ~ it "earns" them nothing in the eyes of the God they worship.

If they are less "evil" it's attributable to Jesus and not to them.

Meanwhile...

Non-Christians, whether they be good people or bad people, are just "evil".

Your notion that you are "falling short" is just your opinion too. You feel you're "falling short" of what your moral compass tells you how you think you ought to be. The same goes for me. If I feel you are "falling short" or if you feel I am "falling short", coming to that determination is the realm of our moral compasses. It's all subjective.

If you saying it’s all subjective is also subjective, how can you be sure that you’re right about it all being subjective?

If you deny absolutes, absolutely it is no different.

Your insistence that your opinions constitute absolutes are as subjective as you can get.

Never claimed my opinions are absolute. You claiming our views only rise to opinions is!

We are both subjective when it comes to morality. "View" and "Opinion" are synonyms.

Well you blanked out my definition of "evil" with a puerile/foetal-position retort. Dodging is your prerogative.

Refer back to what I said about "evil".
