You know who I'm talking to.
To put it in modern vernacular, you're full of crap.
You insult, belittle, and blaspheme those things you know nothing about because of your faithlessness and unbelief.
If you think this is all happening in a vacuum, you're in for a rude awakening.

What happened to, "Forgive them Father, for they know not what they do?" Nothing happened to it.
When Jesus said this He was dieing on the cross, and if you read it correctly, you will notice that it isn't a request of the Father.
You have yanked this out of it's context to use it as a rebuke.
If you want to stand by and be nicer than Jesus while reprobates spit in His face, go ahead.
I, on the other hand will defend His honor and His rightful place as Lord.
Sorry whodey. I'm beginning to get fed up with the nonsense in this forum.

Who is the "he" that you are referring to?
"I think its healthy to mock Jesus in the right vein."
Ya, and what vein is that? The knee jerk vein?

I bet you miss the old days when you could just have disbelievers burnt at the stake. It must make you feel really righteous thinking so.

You insult, belittle, and blaspheme those things you know nothing about because of your faithlessness and unbelief. I haven't seen much evidence of you sticking up for Islam and those of Muslim faith as they are insulted, belittled, and battered around by the 'blasphemous' barbs that are trotted out here incessantly, gratuitously, thread after thread, by this forum's vocal xenophobes.

It must make you feel really righteous thinking so. It makes me glad that we no longer live in a theocracy and that the rule of law takes precedence over the word of god.

What happened to, "Forgive them Father, for they know not what they do?" What happened to, "The Lord Jesus died far my forgiveness. Maybe I should stop mocking Him"?

What happened to, "The Lord Jesus died far my forgiveness. Maybe I should stop mocking Him"? But he was allegedly raised from the dead. So his death wasn't such a big deal. It would be more appropriate to say that Jesus had a bad weekend for my sins.
