Does Rajk or some other Christian here also reject the Trinity?
Or is this literally an atheist cheering on a Christian who denies the Trinity?
... You know why they cheer that on, right?
Because it makes their position stronger because you are denying God on a fundamental level.
@sonship saidI very much appreciate your posts here.
@Philokalia
Some of the participants here trying their best to discredit the Bible, are simply going to have it all unveil in the world under their noses. They seem asleep. Some seem that they cannot be roused out of this sleep.
It is something of a miracle of mercy that we believe the Bible.
Recall the words of Christ that these things have been hidden from the so- ...[text shortened]... f God that He has revealed these things about Himself to us. May He have mercy on others also. Amen.
I know we are of different denominations and backgrounds, but I see you really do a wonderful job and provide us with a lot of positivity, as does Kelly Jay.
You believe in the Trinity, the Bible, and repent of your sins, and actively advance Christianity & proclaim the Gospels. Very magnificent. There is some distance between us in belief, but we are united on very important matters and I pray God gives us both the grace to one day be together in His Kingdom.
@sonship saidGenesis is a fairy tale.
@caissad4The Book of John has multiple authors.
The Book of Revelation reads like spiritual experience while consuming mind altering mushrooms. That is a more likely explanation.
It reads like a climax of other things said elsewhere in the Bible.
it reads like it takes up matters previously revealed in -
[b] Genesis.
Exodus,
Ezekiel,
Zechariah ...[text shortened]... here by cutting and dicing it up into pieces. [/i]"
That's how you've been led into deception.
Exodus is a fairy tale.
If the Book of Johns is based on fairy tales then it is a fairy tale also.
Thanks for that info.
@philokalia saidThere have been numerous Christians here over the years who did not subscribe to the "Trinity" theology.
Does Rajk or some other Christian here also reject the Trinity?
@philokalia saidJesus Christ rejected the Trinity. So do I.

The doctrine of the Trinity claims that all 3 are equal.
Jesus said His Father is greater.
Jesus said His Father knows things that He does not.
Jesus rejects the Trinity.
@philokalia saidIt's odd that this is the first time you have ever heard about it.
Ah-mazing.
It's right in the Nicene creed which I believe is the usual standard for what constitutes non heretical Christianity.
Very disconcerting.
Oh well.
@philokalia saidLike I said previously, you have placed your church doctrine, which is of men, above the teachings of Christ.
Ah-mazing.

@rajk999 saidNothing with you personally, only the doctrine. A personal slight attacks you as a person, while a correction on the subject matter is just a correction on the subject matter.
Is your writing there more along the lines of a thesis to prove a point, glorify God, expound on a position of faith, or is it simply a means to show me up in some manner?
@philokalia saidYou are not going to like this. Paul said we all see through a glass darkly. What that means is that many things are not clear in the bible. The precise nature of God is one of them. So if making guesses about God is your thing then go ahead.
Well, you are not going to like this, because it is basically a whole different thread idea...
What is the view of God without a Trinity based on the Bible?
For me I stick with the following which is crystal clear
- God is the creator of all things
- God is the Father of, and head of Jesus Christ
- Jesus is the Son of God sent to die for mankind and to preach about eternal life
- God is greater and knows all things, while Jesus does not
- God and Jesus Christ are not equals.
Thats all I need to know. However if that does not satisfy you then go ahead and continue with your guesswork.
