We are only crazy fools, if Christ did not rise from the dead. We do not believe such a thing without very good evidence. We have much better evidence than your "Big Bang" and "evolution" theories. 😏

Don't pay attention to that from the Roman Catholics. They have been influenced by false teachers. A few of their teachings have been corrupted. You must compare their teachings to orthodox christianity.

And all that comes directly from your deity. Why do you believe the bible is infallible since it wasn't even a bible at all till the council of Nicea around the year 400. There was a book of Judas that didn't make it so there are several versions of the Judas tale but you think since those dudes 400 years after JC had everything perfectly correct and correctly trashed the book of Judas and many others in their political decisions as to what was bible and what was not.

So you are just believing in the version of the books of the bible put together 400 years after Christ. So now you just have a book written in stone for you but in fact was just a pile of politics in the 400's.

Now you wouldn't even DARE to read the book of Judas, since you now think that must have been written by Satan since it didn't meet with the political criteria of the council 400 years after Christ. So you are actually only following the political decisions of the council of Nicea.

For another, in all the years that I've been posting on this forum, I can't recall ever calling anyone a "troll", even though there have been many who don't "buy into [my] version of 'the truth'". As such your assertion hardly holds water.

What's more you tipped your hand of your intent to troll with "Ghost of a Duke" or GoaD:
goad, verb 1. provoke or annoy (someone) so as to stimulate some action or reaction.

The "Big Bang", evolution and the internal combustion engine could all be figments of a mad scientist's mind - but it would not make Jesus rising from the dead any more plausible.

My reply to chaney3 was to point to resources that explain why those who practice the Jewish faith believe as they do.

When you make comments such as the following, it only serves to show that you fail to make a distinction between ethnicity and faith when the word "Jewish" is used.

Yes, I was referring to the Jewish faith, not the ethnicity. As we know, any race or ethnicity can be a Christian. I am sure that most of today's Jewish faith is based on that faith passed down from generations and that of course some Jewish people become Christians, but I am most interested in why that happened. The Jewish leaders at the time of Jesus didn't seem at all to care about His miracles, healings, and raising the dead. Jesus uttered a few words that they didn't approve of, and wanted Him dead. I am struggling for answers 2000 years after the fact.....and my only reference are words from the Bible. These Jewish priests witnessed Jesus first hand, and did not believe. That is what I find astonishing.
