Osama bin laden is a criminal a murderer, and should be hanged. Is he still alive?

On what grounds would you make a claim that he is not even muslim.
Is it bacause you disagree with his conduct or methods?
Is it because you think he is not a good muslim?
A muslim is defined by his beliefs.
I might disagree strongly with Christian rightwingers who kill in the name of Christianity, but I will be stupid to claim that they are not Christian. I am not in a position to claim anyone is not a Christian. Neither are you in a position to claim someone is not a muslim.

Well if he misrepresents how islam is to the whole world, then i'd say he's just muslim by name. What do you call someone who drifts away from his/her religon and doesn't abide by its rules. A non follower, or non believer. Maybe yes I can't claim if he is or not a muslim, but I know that people look at muslims from how he acts, and he is truly messing up the image, and that's a big sin. I here by claim that

You can call him a misguided muslim.
In all religions there are dozens of interpretations.
You can claim that someone's interpretation is different or wrong. You are not in a position to claim they dont belong to a particular religion.
