Calling a fellow Christian "satanic" is just about the meanest thing you can think of to say, isn't it? How bitter faith can make some people when it turns into a kind sociopathic certainty!
If so, why don't they call themselves Christian Witnesses?

What you believe or don't believe about what Desmond Dos would think, has little traction, I think, seeing as it is framed almost entirely in a gratuitous, misanthropic attack on the faith of fellow Christians. If you weren't so nasty and spiteful to other posters day in day out, week in week out, on this Forum, your thoughts on doctrinal differences might carry more weight.

I want to make clear I am not defending this thread, but I think perhaps RJH might be responding to the JWs ongoing insistence that the rest of us are not Christians at all. He was hardly the one who threw the first stone.
RJH deployed one of several different tactics we all use to defend ourselves. He clearly felt attacked for being... himself.
Might RJH have been better to have simply defended his own position rather than to diminish the position of the other person? Mmmm.. probably so.
So since everyone is so convinced that RJH has committed a transgression, then there are 2 ways to respond. We can be just like you say he's being, and beat him down for what he said.
Or, we can just forgive him.
Ol' guy prolly needs a hug about now.
*hugs RJH*

means you're not Christian because it doesn't have the word Christian in the title?

deliberately to conflict with the Christian denominations, who were exalting
the name of Jesus the Christ. If I had realized that you were going to view
it that way I would have left that last question out. My point was that they
fight against other Christians denominations. They deny Christian doctrines
making them anti-Christian. They exalt the name "Jehovah" above all names
in conflict with Christians and deny the Deity of Christ as well as the Trinity
Doctrine that Christians use in an attempt to describe the nature of God.
They deny every Christian doctrine I can think of and maybe even all of them.
But, as you pointed out, even if they had used the name I suggested for them
it would not have made them Christians because of their dogma that opposes
Christianity.

so there is no reason that I should try to explain it to you.
