    If Jesus wanted everyone saved why not make everyone the elect?
    You DO understand what free will is, yes?

    He's not disagreeing with Jesus, you moron, he's disagreeing with your thoughtless mischaracterization of what Jesus said.

    Big difference.

    But you Bible worshippers do this all the time. You think your interpretation of scripture is always correct and inerrant. The Word of God is inerrant, not the words of Eladar.

    Did Pharaoh have free will or did God harden his heart?

    Here is what Jesus said and I believe him.

    This is why I speak to them in parables:

    “Though seeing, they do not see;
    though hearing, they do not hear or understand.
    14 In them is fulfilled the prophecy of Isaiah:

    “‘You will be ever hearing but never understanding;
    you will be ever seeing but never perceiving.
    15 For this people’s heart has become calloused;
    they hardly hear with their ears,
    and they have closed their eyes.
    Otherwise they might see with their eyes,
    hear with their ears,
    understand with their hearts
    and turn, and I would heal them.’[a]

    You want the truth, take it at face value.

    He taught in parables so that they would not understand and turn to be forgiven.

    I guess that's because you are too blind to see. I'll quote the exact words again.

    understand with their hearts
