I guess that's because you are too blind to see. I'll quote the exact words again.

Otherwise they might see with their eyes,
hear with their ears,
understand with their hearts
and turn, and I would heal them.’[a]
And again, what do YOU think this means?

The question here is not what he said, it's your interpretation of what he said that is in question. But go ahead, keep making a fool of yourself by claiming that your words are his.

It means what it means. It means that Jesus taught in parables so that people would not understand what he was saying. The reason given by Jesus was so that they would not repent and be healed.

You can either accept Jesus' explanation he gave to his chosen men, or you can reject Jesus' truth.

The same thing that happened to him happens to all unrepentant sinners. God reveals and some repent and others harden their hearts.

What did I say that makes you think I disagree with Paul?

"For Scripture says to Pharaoh: “I raised you up for this very purpose, that I might display my power in you and that my name might be proclaimed in all the earth.”[g] 18 Therefore God has mercy on whom he wants to have mercy, and he hardens whom he wants to harden."

Paul claims that God hardened Pharaoh's heart.

Here we have it in Exodus too.

Then the Lord said to Moses, “See, I have made you like God to Pharaoh, and your brother Aaron will be your prophet. 2 You are to say everything I command you, and your brother Aaron is to tell Pharaoh to let the Israelites go out of his country. 3 But I will harden Pharaoh’s heart, and though I multiply my signs and wonders in Egypt, 4 he will not listen to you.

You say that others harden their hearts and clearly God hardened Pharaoh's heart.

I said God shows us the reality of Him, with that we do one of two things, we move towards God or away. You move away by harding your heart, it is the only thing we can do. Notice when God did great things in front of him, he then harden his heart. Sinners love sin and want to stay the way they are, God upsets that.

So did Pharaoh harden his own heart or did God harden Pharaoh's heart?
