If you believe Jesus WAS God the Father or a God-man as some believe,
how do you explain (John 1:18) No man has seen God at any time;
Also, if Jesus was God, how could he die?
The only way he could die is if God who had been working through Jesus did as Jesus recognized at
(Matthew 27:46) About the ninth hour, Jesus called out with a loud voice, saying: “Eʹli, Eʹli, laʹma sa·bach·thaʹni?” that is, “My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?”
That removed God's protection from Jesus so he could be killed as a ransom for us.
