How, well, simple blood tests duh, generaly each clan has at least one doctor, and besides that, most of the time we stick to whom we know is safe.

No I would not, classify myself as a parasite, because a parasite does harm to the one they are "feeding" from I do not see any harm that vampires do to humans.

it may seem bad to ...[text shortened]... n't really see a problem with it.

to be honest i don't like any religion... i like God.
I understand your point there, and you want to know something we vampire believe in god as well, why do you think we repent every time we feed?

But if you're not doing any harm by feeding, why do you repent?

can you get blood out of people without harming them? and you are forgetting the mental harm that you inflict. i mean, i'm sure your parents don't just sit there tut-tutting dissaprovingly.

and if you repent every time you feed, why do you do it again? that defies the point of repentance...

borissa, you have to be a subscriber to rec. posts.

Some people don't know they have those diseases so how would you tell if they didn't know?

I don't think you should call it feeding. You should call it ritual because you can't take enough blood for it to be a primary food source so its not the same thing as say, a vampire bat, who is a real vampire in the sense it does not eat anything else. So you cannot call yourselved true vampires only imitators who pretend at vampirism.
