I don't believe there's a war in heaven at all, or that it is "still going on".

Lucifer was kicked out of Heaven, along with the third who were supporting him. Done. End of story.

There's peace in heaven now. He's doing all his "rabble-rousing" now on Earth, for all the good it'll do him. And for this, he'll pay the price, no worries.
