Made in the image of God

Satan is the father of lies; when he speaks, it is what he is, the god of this world who those in rebellion God are following, but none of them were made in Satan's image; they were corrupted into it, so they were spoiled. We are children of Adam; our behavior is as corrupt as Satan, which is why many will share Satan's fate. We were made in the image of God, we have morals, we can think and act as we please, but we have rebelled and are no longer on our own ability to walk righteously; we need to be fixed, repaired, redeemed. Even after his sin, Adam was still called a son of God. Is your point that those not following the Lord are following Satan and therefore children of Satan?

As I pointed out earlier, I thought it was even to you that one can use something else to do what is needed; as we make metal fly, a spiritual being can act upon some creature in this world. As a rule, snakes don't talk, and neither do bushes; when something spiritual moves in the physical realm, it isn't ever going to be something any of us would call natural.

What's all this about flying metal? If you're talking about airplanes (?) then that's just mechanics; pure, logical science and engineering. Nothing to compare there with a spiritual being acting upon some creature in the world, can you really not see the difference?
'As a rule, snakes don't talk, and neither do bushes.' Well done, did you work that one out by yourself? Just take it one step further and work out that they never actually do, and you might be getting somewhere.

You are right. We are not in the image of God now; we are spoiled by sin, so we are not what we are supposed to be, which is a people made in God's image. Now we are in bad condition, a horrible place and it is so wrong we think it usual. Instead of reflecting God, we are like a mirror that is so cluttered with dust and dirt it hardly reflects anything that is there, and in some cases, the mirror is so dirty you only see the dirt-covered mirror, nothing else.

We are all children of Adam and Eve, so when we were made, it was when they were, the human race was started. Our lives are a direct result of that event.
