@indonesia-phil saidFor you to think every case of paranormal activity has a natural explanation is, I think, ludicrous.
If you are claiming that supernatural events occur, such as talking snakes, the onus is on you to prove it.
A quote is only a quote, it's just words, and for things to be strange they do not have to be supernatural. Everything is relative and subjective, I know some fairly strange people but as far as I know none of them are supernatural.
My five senses give me qui ...[text shortened]... er, claim that imagined events in my stories are the truth, and they should not be regarded as such.
@pb1022 saidIf things have a natural explanation then they aren't paranormal, you need to work on your logic. This conversation began because Kellyjay thinks that snakes can talk, and that a talking snake is the same as an airplane. So, think whatever you like, but you've said nothing to convince anyone that paranormal activities actually occur.
For you to think every case of paranormal activity has a natural explanation is, I think, ludicrous.
@Indonesia-Phil
What did the snake say?
I would, rather than focus on the fact that a snake talked, focus for a spell on the significance of what was SAID. At least for a while here.
How do you stand with what was said by this snake ?
Do you believe, for example:
1.) Someone ELSE has your best interest in mind other than God?
2.) That God LIES ?
3.) God only threatened with death because God wanted to discourage competition.
4.) Whatever God forbids can only be for your benefit. What He warns against on the contrary is really good for us. So God is withholding your greater enjoyment from you with a deceptive munipulative heart.
Let's say for a moment that it was another human being that spoke rather than a animal. Put that aside for a moment. What was the believability, the trustworthiness of what was SAID ?
@sonship saidI've yet to be convinced of the 'fact' that a snake can talk. If this is a 'let's pretend that snakes can talk' discussion, then you've lost my interest, and since I don't think your god exists the questions are academic.

@kellyjay saidIt means that God is smaller than one might imagine, stocky, hairy, humanoid, and fond of prosody and vengeance.
That was how scripture says we started.
What does that mean?
@kevin-eleven saidAnd he fits into little boxes of our own making.
It means that God is smaller than one might imagine, stocky, hairy, humanoid, and fond of prosody and vengeance.
@josephw saidI don't think there's any Biblical support for boxes.
And he fits into little boxes of our own making.
@kevin-eleven saidAh ha! The word "box" occurs 8 times in seven verses in the Bible.
I don't think there's any Biblical support for boxes.
@indonesia-phil saidYes, they speak of signs and wonders.
Do any of them talk?
Like conch shells, if you hold one up to your ear you can hear the sound of the universe.
And the voice of Bob Marley.
@josephw saidMan, I need to get one of those..
Yes, they speak of signs and wonders.
Like conch shells, if you hold one up to your ear you can hear the sound of the universe.

@indonesia-phil saidI note that Romans1009/PB1022 is unable to converse with you without calling you a moron and a buffoon.
I could name a few people, but you don't know them so there's no point; if you don't then I suggest we end the conversation. I leave you to your talking snakes.
