-Removed-Again, Jesus Christ was specifically referring to the Pharisees - not His general “contemporaries.”
You’re misrepresenting Jesus here the same way you did with Revelation 14:10 by falsely claiming it referred to “billions” of non-Christians when it specifically said in Revelation 14:9 and 14:11 that it referred to Satan worshippers and those who accepted the mark of the beast.
@indonesia-phil saidDo you think demonic possession exists, even today?
I've 'heard' of a lot of things; I've heard of Father Christmas and the Tooth Fairy, so what? If the foundation of your religion relies on snakes being able to talk, I would have a re - think.
@pb1022 saidWhat makes you think I ever thought demonic possession existed?
Do you think demonic possession exists, even today?
@indonesia-phil saidDo you think it exists or not? You can’t answer a straight question?
What makes you think I ever thought demonic possession existed?
@pb1022 saidDid you ever stop to wonder who moves your little peanut-butter hands?
Do you think it exists or not? You can’t answer a straight question?
@indonesia-phil saidSo what do you make of people who have had exorcisms? What do you make of documented cases of paranormal activity?
I tend to only answer sensible questions, but I'll make an exception; no, I don't think demonic possession exists, not today, not last Thursday, not ever.
Do you reject everything that is not explainable by naturalistic means?
@pb1022 saidI've never met anyone who's had an exorcism, nor been personally involved with one, and you can document whatever you like 'til the cows come home, it doesn't make it true.

Do I reject everything that is not explainable by naturalistic means? Yep, any other questions or are we done?

Doesn’t make it false either.
You oughta know the truth of that quote, “The universe is not only stranger than we imagine, it’s stranger than we can imagine.”
Seems like you reject the validity of everything not discernible by your five senses. In my opinion, that’s extremely narrow-minded and limiting.
@pb1022 saidIf you are claiming that supernatural events occur, such as talking snakes, the onus is on you to prove it.

A quote is only a quote, it's just words, and for things to be strange they do not have to be supernatural. Everything is relative and subjective, I know some fairly strange people but as far as I know none of them are supernatural.
My five senses give me quite enough to be going on with, thanks, although I do also have my imagination, which allows me to write novels, (14 so far) I do not, however, claim that imagined events in my stories are the truth, and they should not be regarded as such.
