Not so. This is a ridiculous lie. Despite what you define as 'sin', in no way can Jesus' commandment to "love thy neighbor as you love yourselves" be used to justify sin. That you think people try to do so is a shamefully ignorant, hateful attempt to portray these people as "unChristian". The people far more likely to be "unChristian" are those who hypocritically portray their will (and opinion) as being God's will.

No argument here, up to your last statement. In fact, Jesus' "greatest two commandments" are defined as overriding "all other commandments". Most Christians are not Jews. Mosaic Laws (laws given by Moses to the Hebrew people) cannot be used by naysayers and haters to condemn Gentiles or Christians. Unless, of course, you are prepared to argue that ALL of the commandments (the so-called Ten Commandments are in no way ALL of the commandments rendered unto the Hebrew people), including dietary restrictions and all the rest, are laws for Gentiles and/or Christians, which is an exceedingly ignorant argument.
