@Suzianne saidSue respectfully and with love there is no liberal Bible or Christianity it’s a made up concept to bend God to your will and lifestyle and not you to Gods just for self acceptance and reassurance here on earth. It is not biblically supported in the Bible, you can’t even defend and answer my questions to your beliefs in this so called liberal Christianity because you can’t. Let’s restart with these questions if you agree please explain.
You can start by praying that God open your eyes and ears.
AND maybe actually give you sight and hearing to go along with that.
Discernment, my man. This is where you fail.
Is the Bible the inerrant word of God?
Does the bible disagree with same sex relationships, overlooking everything said about a man and a woman, creation?
Is God trans and not the father and son like mentioned throughout the Bible?
Should the Lords Prayer be changed from our FATHER IN HEAVEN?
@mike69 saidAs a straight atheist I have no skin in the game, but isn't the 'love thy neighbour as you love yourself' more significant than the harsh judgements from the Old testament?

Being gay (etc etc) isn't a life choice. So if your God truly is the only creator, he made us the way we are, irrespective of our sexual orientation.

@Ghost-of-a-Duke saidThese are my questions to her from the inerrant word of God if you would like to answer, also has Genesis been refuted in the New Testament? God is the same yesterday, today, and forever, and all of his attributes all of the time you don’t pick and choose or change things to fit a narrative.

Does she judge? Does she love thy neighbor?
@Ghost-of-a-Duke said'Love thy neighbor' is a commonly misunderstood phrase, which Jesus did explain, but those who condone homosexuality use it to justify sin.

Love in that context is charitable love... Charity, or generosity to those in need, and this was explained and demonstrated with the Good Samaritan parable. Followers of Christ are to help all in need regardless of their personal circumstances, if they can. This cannot be used to claim that it overides all other commandments.
God made all people, but unfortunately this still applies
He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son. But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death. (Rev 21:7-8 KJV)

@mike69 saidI answered all your questions Mike., as an atheist. How is that trolling?
So you just want to troll?
I don't believe the Bible is the inerrant word of God. - Jesus makes no mention of homosexuality. - The Bible says nobody has seen God. (Hence no one can say much about his appearance).
@Ghost-of-a-Duke saidWere you questioning me and my reasons from an atheist pov?

"These are my questions to her from the inerrant word of God if you would like to answer."
You see the invitation there?! - What does it matter if you liked my answers. They came honestly from an atheist. What did you expect me to write?
Like I said elsewhere, you American chaps have a strange relationship with free speech. So what if I jumped in. It's a public forum.

@Ghost-of-a-Duke saidJust because Jesus may not have used that word, it is without a doubt translated into English versions. Not to mention, considered very sinful.
