As a straight atheist I have no skin in the game, but isn't the 'love thy neighbour as you love yourself' more significant than the harsh judgements from the Old testament?

Being gay (etc etc) isn't a life choice. So if your God truly is the only creator, he made us the way we are, irrespective of our sexual orientation.

These are my questions to her from the inerrant word of God if you would like to answer, also has Genesis been refuted in the New Testament? God is the same yesterday, today, and forever, and all of his attributes all of the time you don’t pick and choose or change things to fit a narrative.

'Love thy neighbor' is a commonly misunderstood phrase, which Jesus did explain, but those who condone homosexuality use it to justify sin.

Love in that context is charitable love... Charity, or generosity to those in need, and this was explained and demonstrated with the Good Samaritan parable. Followers of Christ are to help all in need regardless of their personal circumstances, if they can. This cannot be used to claim that it overides all other commandments.

God made all people, but unfortunately this still applies
He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son. But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death. Just because Jesus may not have used that word, it is without a doubt translated into English versions. Not to mention, considered very sinful.
