To me, jokes about rape are ugly, unfunny, and usually made - and laughed at - by ignorant or immature people.

If you made jokes about rape in front of your sister - assuming for a moment that the story you told about her is true - and it caused her emotional distress, then the joke - or more specifically the telling of it - would be morally unsound.

whodey's joke is making light of marital rape. The kind of rape that the joke is squeezing its "humour" from is the idea of marital rape and the idea of divegeester being the sort of person who might rape his wife.

If not for your bromance with Dive you might have realized that the subject of the joke was Dive and his supposed inability to get some. I personally did not see whodey making fun of rape victims but rather of Dive. Your history with Dive would explain why you would take offense to that.

The victim of a marital rape is the wife of a raping husband. whodey's joke was about the idea of diveggester being a rapist.

One would first have to assume that Dive gets some before there can be any talk of rape. If you made that assumption, do you think everyone else did as well?
