Sound doctrine is not based on speculation.
So celebrating something that Jesus never did once and that is based on a pagan date and worship of the sun is sound doctrine? Wow!!!

No its not sound doctrine to insist that Christmas IS celebrated.
Neither is it sound doctrine to insist that Christmas IS NOT celebrated.

Both groups are wrong. Celebrating Christmas is of no consequence.

I don't see anyone saying here that worshiping the sun is sound doctrine. Celebrating a birthday is not worshiping other, or false gods.

Inaccurate ? Do you know even have a clue what Christ taught ? You think its about accuracy ?

You are Pharisee through and through, and have failed to understand what Christ expects of us.

Me too. Thanks for visiting though and see you around....

And guys, yes not doing the things that most of the Christian faiths partake in can be hard. Even within our own families, which was fortold, they would turn their backs on us. It has happend in my family for sure. But again we all will answer to God for those decisions. But remember that the road is very narrow to life but broad is the one leading to death. Think about what that means and make sure your on the narrow road and what sacrifices you might have to make to stay on it.. It is not the easy way to go.

"And what is Jehovah asking back from you but to exercise justice and to love kindness and to be modest in walking with your God?", Micah 6:8

Devotees of Jim Jones and the cult of the Branh Davidians ... and countless more cults and devotees of sick nutcases, also thought they were on the ".. narrow road to life .." , as do you !!!

But the narrow road to life is through obeying the commandments of Christ. Christ called it narrow becuase most people dont follow Christ becuase it involved giving to the poor, helping the needy, and not being concerned with worldly goods. It certainly is not about fabricating garbage doctrinies simply to put yourself apart from other groups .. thats pointless, shallow and empty.

Anytime you see a relgious group insisting that you believe in some doctrine that is not in the Bible .. then WATCH OUT ... RUN .. RUN .. get out of that group.

Well you are a blooming moron and a liar if you think I said that " ... the illustration of the rich man and Lazarus is a condemnation against rich people.."

Where did I say that.

touchy touchy touchy, that's no way for a Saint to react, you might get de canonised and come back down to earth as a mere mortal! did you not state that those persons who were rich, as illustrated by the rich man, if they did not help poor people, Lazarus, they would be condemned? did I imagine it, make it up, fabricate it, no i did not! now you will be pleased to tell me, what christ requires of us!

it may help you to note, that while Christ concerned himself with helping those who were in need, his primary objective was to educate persons about Gods kingdom, that is why he consistently referred to as, not the miracle worker, not the feeder of the poor, not the healer, but Teacher, do you understand the significance of this?
