Has someone contacted the moderate Muslim spokesperson?

If moderate Muslims were speaking out to my satisfaction then I would have heard them doing so, regardless of the fact that I refuse to listen to a word they say and I wouldn't believe them even if I did.

There's nothing in that article that in any way ties the killing to Muslims.

What's your point?

Quite right, the article does not mention any religious connection at all. Did FMF even read the article, or is it being passed on as flaimbait with no critical analysis (or even uncritical analysis) of the claim?

I say this reflects extremely badly on FMF. Please take at least 5 seconds to check before posting such unfounded speculation in future.

Also, shame on everyone else who replied without checking that the article actually reflected the assertion in the original post.

how do you know that FMF has not used it as a ploy as a newspaper editor would word a headline, and was perfectly aware that it did not state that it was done by Muslims?

Of course it is: To the ignorant. To bigots. And especially to ignorant bigots.

I'm with ThinkOfOne and PsychoPawn on this. Especially given that religiously, I am very moderate.

What characterizes a moderate Muslim, as opposed to an extreme Muslim?

A lack of desire to kill all non-Muslims for religious reasons. I assure you, at least 1.299 billion of the 1.3 billion Muslims in the world are moderate.

I see. So, you would characterize Muslim men who keep their wives at home or covered in burkas when they are allowed out as moderate, provided they don't wish to kill infidels?

No. But 1.2999 billion Muslims do not do that.
