The work of Jesus is for Him to work Himself into your being.

Salvation is for God to work Jesus Christ INTO your being.

He works. We open and receive.

... and we do and work like He showed us.
Because if we dont, we dont believe.
DOING, WORKING IS THE PROOF.

There is some truth to that. Fatih without works is dead.

However, it is not what we do. It is through Whom we do it and in Whose person we derive our source of life.

Christ knows the heart of man, and he will judge accordingly.
There is'nt a Yes or No answer to your question.

Ahhh, one of the classics--right up there with free will vs. omniscient God and double predestinayion. I think that this very year, the Catholic church decreed that their "fallen brethren" are correct in that we are saved by grace through faith in Jesus Christ. See? Even the Pope has come around! 🙂

Regardless, we still have to DO. Is DOING optional ?

God only wants what Christ DOES in you.

"It is no longer I that lives, but it is Christ Who lives in me."

There is one human being who satisfies God and one only - His Son Jesus.

When Jesus gets into you, uniting with Him and He with you, makes your living OUT FROM Him acceptable to God.

So 'doing' is optional.
