Okay so let's say you are given only an apple a day to live on, every day from now on a take that apple, does that mean that you won't starve because it's just a notation?

Do you even know what notation means? 2+2=4 is a piece of notation. The act of giving me an apple is not.

No I don't give you the apple somebody else does so you have one apple = 1, I take the apple 1 take away 1, now you have no apple 1-1=0, that's a notation.
