PERISH FOREVER.
So being NEAR a curse must be a temporary punishment.

That would BE CURSED. That would not be "NEAR a curse."

What version says this:
"And I give to them eternal life, and they shall by no means perish FOREVER , and no one shall snatch them out of My hand." (John 10:28)

This appears to be a fabrication of yours.
No version adds in that word 'forever'
Oh .. thats the recovery version. The version written by Witness Lee.
I got it. Witless Lees motto :
When the Bible does not support your doctrine, rewrite the Bible I see. makes sense. Carry on.

If they perish forever then obviously Christ did not give them "ETERNAL life" [/b]

You are changing subjects on me.
A good confession is not self proclaiming salvation without actually BEING saved.
A good confession is taking God at His word.
"For by grace you have been saved through faith, and this not of yourselves, it is the gift of God." (Eph. 2:8)
Taking God's word says -
By grace I have been saved through faith, not of my works. It is the gift of God.
That is to stand on God's word.
To rebel is to say "it is the LOAN of God which He may revoke at any time."
Humility believes God's word if in fact you have RECEIVED the Lord and Savior and His GIFT.

John 10 28 refers to the sheep of Christ.
Sheep follow Christ
They hear his voice
All Chrsitians are not sheep.

The Bible clearly states there are those who were saved but fell away. They are beyond redemption.
