@kellyjay saidWell, I am not a Christian anymore, KellyJay, if that's what you are getting at. I know you are a Christian. I am not one. So, I am not claiming that we are "like" each other now in terms of religious beliefs. What gave you that idea?
So where the two touches, where God touches us,
is either real or not; if real, it is a mix, and you can only have both if God is real. So
saying you understand my faith and saying you were once like me is saying there is
no God because now you are not like me, now you deny it.
@kellyjay saidI don't think you have "a relationship with God", KellyJay, aside from the solace and inspiration your faith in God gives you. I think you have way more than "an idea about him". I think you have many ideas about him [that he is going to torture me, for example] and about yourself [that you are immortal, for example].
Then you know you never had a relationship with God; you only had an idea about
Him, which you changed when you changed your mind, that was all you ever had.
@fmf saidThat has been my point, you don't think I do, or anyone does, because you never

did. That is the part you keep missing; you never did, you claimed something was
real, but it was not; it never was for you. Now you project that upon everyone else
as if your experiences are true and no one can have anything you once thought
you had but never did. That is a very self-centered view of the universe; no one can
have what you deny; it cannot be real if you don't accept it. I believe you when you
say you thought so, and I believe you changed your mind, and that was all it took.
@kellyjay saidHa ha... says the guy who is reaching through his PC screen desparate to change the reality of someone else's life because it doesn't fit your [1] ideology and [2] some sort faith willy waving [that doesn't appear to be for my consumption].

@kellyjay saidI'm not "missing" anything, KellyJay. I understand you believe your faith is in something real. I understand that that is what you believe. I understand it. I once had faith in the same stuff you believe in. And I believed it was real, just as you believe it is real. Nothing is "missing" from what I am saying about your faith.

@fmf saidI'm simply taking you at your word; your word is what you once had; you now deny

it was true for you, which translates it could never be true for everyone else. You
deny it in everyone, so for the sake of argument, what you are saying is it could
never be true for anyone ever. So, according to you, because it was never true for
you, you make that mean it's also not true for everyone else, always, everywhere!
You are speaking for the entire human race and God as if you know.
How am I twisting anything? Am I putting words in your mouth or simply taking you
at your word, you made a profession you now deny.
