This is getting too much like hard work now, it not the US that is linking hard work, and patriotism to right wing extremism it is Paul Harvey, and He is not trying to make hard work and patriotism look bad he trying to make right wing extremism look good. IMO.

liberalism in churches, the abuse of children by clergy, financial corruption of
religious organisations, the inherent inequalities of the system which favours the
affluent, the promotion of greed through gambling, the promotion of perceptions that
anything can be termed extremism, that certain virtues can be promoted as
dubious, hard work, morality, patriotism, that marraige and commitment are
'uncool', that promiscuity is to be preferred, that the unreality of television
engenders values, sexually transmitted disease, all of which give an indication of the
present state of affairs.
