David want to keep God's word in his MOUTH, not only in his heart. Praying with the words of the Bible is a good way to insure that God's word is not taken away from us.

Psalm 119::43

" And do not take the word of truth utterly from my mouth, For I have hoped in Your ordinances."

Prayreading keeps the word in your mouth as well as your mind. Prayreading kindles hope in that word.

Praying with God's word is a good way to HIDE in the divine word of God. Sometimes when we are assailed by temptations and trials we need to HIDE in the protective shelter of the word of God. Praying God's word forms also a protective shield to cover our heart and mind.

When evil thoughts assail you, why not turn to prayread the word of God, hiding behind the shield of God's word ?

"You are my hiding place and my shield, In Your word do I hope." (v.114)

So we demonstrate simple prayreading with Psalm 119:140. Now it is effective to utter "Amen" quite much when prayreading. This seals your agreement, your welcoming, and your concurrence in heart with God's word.

"You word is very pure, And Your servant loves it."

Then go back over the verse, breaking it up into smaller pieces, bite size pieces. And "Amen" the word of God !

"Your word .." Amen.
"Your word .." Amen Lord, Amen "Your word".

Your word is very pure" AMEN !
"Very pure" Amen. Lord
"Your word" Amen. " ... is very pure" Amen. "VERY" Amen Lord. "VERY PURE" Amen.

"Your word is very pure" Amen.
"PURE" Amen.
"VERY ... PURE" Amen ! Very pure Lord. Amen!

"And Your servant ..." Amen.
"And Your servant .." Amen Lord Jesus. I am Your servant.
"And Your servant LOVES .." Amen.
"And Your servant LOVES IT" Amen.
Your servant Lord. Your servant LOVES Your word Lord. Amen.

"Your word is very pure, And Your servant loves it" Amen.

You see? This is masticating the word of God. This is "Amen-ing" the word of God piece by piece, bit by bit.

This is like chewing to derive ALL of the healthy spiritual nutrients from the word of God.
I prayread this very verse this morning.

Prayread this O Vain Man:

**********************************************************
What doth it profit, my brethren, though a man say he hath faith, and have not works?
can faith save him?
If a brother or sister be naked, and destitute of daily food,
And one of you say unto them,
Depart in peace, be ye warmed and filled;
notwithstanding ye give them not those things which are needful to the body;
what doth it profit?
Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone.
Yea, a man may say,
Thou hast faith, and I have works: shew me thy faith without thy works,
and I will shew thee my faith by my works.
Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble.
But wilt thou know, O vain man, that faith without works is dead?
Was not Abraham our father justified by works, when he had offered Isaac his son upon the altar?
Seest thou how faith wrought with his works, and by works was faith made perfect?
Ye see then how that by works a man is justified, and not by faith only.
For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also.
(James 2:14-26 KJV)

**********************************************************************

If you prayread this and you change from your false doctrine then you know that God is listening to you.
If you dont change then God has turned his back in you.

That looks delicious. I would prayread it the same way I would prayread any other God Breathed profitable word out from the mouth of God..

And I have prayread much from the book of James which I love.

You need something to eat. Why don't you spend some time to Amen in prayer every line of that passage?

It is sweet.

I see your problem... you are like what Revelation says .. sweet in your mouth but bitter in your belly. That means that when the time comes to act on what you eat, you find that to be a bitter morsel.

You eat without digesting.
You read without understanding
What you eat does not nourish and build you.
Your doctrine is talk without action.

So while you make your empty boast of eating the Book of James, and calls it God-breathed, nothing James says enters your spirit and soul.

Revelation 10:9 I knew probably before you started reading the Bible.
That is not a problem to me.

Yes, the word is sweet. When God works out the reality of some of its promises in the soul it may not be sweet to the soul under the cross's work. .

This is well known. God promises Abraham some great things. I am sure they were sweet to his ears. But the experiences he had to go through were not always sweet.

The prophecies concerning Christ's return are also sweet. The Great Tribulation will not be sweet.

You still do not have a case to turn this thread into another OSAS debate.

If you like the book of James so much, could you expound chapter 4 verse 11,12 to us please ?

"Do not speak against one another, brothers. He who speaks against a brother or judges his brother speaks against the law and judges the law. But if you judge the law you are not a doer of the law but a judge.

One is the Lawgiver and Judge, who is able to save and destroy. But who are you who judge your neighbor?"

In light of your enumerated accusations above could you help us understand James 4:11,12 ?

You preach a doctrine that encourages sin, and discourages good works and righteousness. You deny that the commandments of Jesus are ESSENTIAL for eternal life.

Therefore you are not my brother in Christ.

The passage in James does not apply to us. The passages that applies are the ones where Christians are told to resist evil and false teachings.

(For the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness and righteousness and truth) Proving what is acceptable unto the Lord. And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them.
(Ephesians 5:9-11 KJV)

Explain all that. Is it your practice here ?

I'll tell you what. Just enjoy prayreading it tonight if you don't want to explain about it.
Good enough.
PRAYREAD it in God's presence. Get something to eat.

What about those your church has shunned?

Should we ask them who is hypocritical?

Very similar to the cult that I left...

So much for leaving the 99 sheep at home to find the 1 sheep that is lost, instead they just shun the 1 sheep, and go on as if everything is ok. Rather that trying to find out why the sheep actually left in the first place.

As you can see this is a perfectly wonderful verse to Prayread. Breaking it up into bite size pieces we may muse, digest each phrase accompanying this with petition and confession.

I am hoping I can get some volunteers to PrayWrite the first chapter of Ephesians. If I wax bold to do so I will call it Praywriting the Word.

shew me thy faith Amen. Show the faith Lord.
shew me thy faith. without thy works, Lord be expressed in our LIVING Lord.
shew me thy faith without works Amen Lord manifest Your life in us through works. Amen.

and I will shew thee my faith by my works. Amen. Show forth our faith Lord.

Learn to Prayread the Bible Christians.
Teach your other brothers and sisters how to PRAYREAD the Bible.

You can invite some over to your home and take a chapter of the Gospel of John and together - PRAYREAD the whole chapter.

Afterwards you can go around person by person and fellowship what you enjoyed of the Lord. This is a revolutionary kind of meeting. This is a Christian meeting in preparation for the hard days that may come.

I encourage you to learn to Prayread the Holy Bible.
