@rajk999 saidYou ignore many of the teachings of Jesus Christ and His sacrifice on the cross means nothing to you as I demonstrated in an earlier post.
Lol... Christians will hate you for that. But lets resist the temptation to personalize this thread. Lets not make it about me as sonship is trying to do.
Do you agree with the teachings of Christ?
Do you find the teachings of Christ more palatable than what many Christians promote here?
You also don’t seem, at least in here, to have much respect for what Jesus said were the two greatest commandments.

@rajk999 saidYou have atheists agreeing with you reducing Jesus Christ to only a good teacher and bearing false witness against Christians.
Perfect. It is all about the teachings of Jesus Christ, which many accept and good and righteous doctrines. These are doctrines that Christians have failed to promote.
What a surprise.

@rajk999 saidThen why do you ignore so many of Jesus Christ’s words and why does His sacrifice on the cross mean nothing to you?
.... Rajk999 preaches what Jesus said.
There is nothing to argue about in the teachings of Christ.
Jesus has the words of eternal life.
Christians like you do not.
You’re still in the Old Testament and living under the old covenant - only without animal sacrifices to atone for sins and ramped-up definitions of sin.
@avalanchethecat saidNice... you understand the doctrine of Christ more than many Christians here .. sadly I might add. My abrasive nature is simply part of my personality which comes out when I come across foolish hypocritical people, who promote doctrines Jesus did not preach.
I don't argue with Rajk999 very much because he - for the most part and insofar as I understand it - seems to have a pretty clear understanding of the message which I think Jesus was trying to get across. He doesn't seem to worship a creed or a book. Having said that, I recall having a rather intemperate exchange with him in the past. If memory serves this was more to ...[text shortened]... e rancour, which is more than I can say for some disagreements I've had with avowed christians here.
@fmf saidI sincerely hope we get the opportunity to socialise in person one good day FMF. What is amazing is that I have to argue with professed Christians about what Jesus said, after which they claim that I am the one that does not believe in Jesus Christ.,
Way back when, Rajk999 made it crystal clear to me that he's not here to discuss atheism or theism with atheists. Fair enough. He's stuck to that, and I respect him for that choice and for his constancy.
There are only a few posters here I'd quite like to have a beer and bite to eat with one day, and Rajk999 is one of them.
I've always thought his theology - though I don' ...[text shortened]... ted to and brandished in their efforts to assail his cogent and brusquely delivered interpretations.

@rajk999 saidYou ignore Jesus Christ’s many teachings about the importance of belief, faith and prayer, of love and forgiveness, and you have reduced to irrelevancy Jesus Christ’s sacrifice on the cross.

In your false doctrine, Jesus Christ is nothing more than a good teacher and people who reject Jesus Christ go to Heaven based on some unspecified standard that God has kept hidden from man.
It’s hardly a surprise atheists like you.
@Ghost-of-a-Duke
On whether you think Rajk999 honors Christ more thatn me you answered -
Yes.
But as an atheist, you'd be interested in a Christ that leans more towards there being no God than God's existence. As an atheist, I think your vested interest would the that less God the more honor to one speaking for ore manifesting God.
Probably compared to Rajk999 a humanist denying the incarnation, perfect living, redemptive death, resurrection, ascenscion would be to YOU honoring Jesus more.
Better still, arguing that Jesus probably never even lived like Dr. Richard Carrier, would be "honoring Jesus" the most.
So I'm not too surprised about your sense of what "honoring" a Son of God would be.

@sonship saidCrikey, this thread has backfired on you big time, hey?

Meanwhile, you are yet to convince a single Christian you have been deified.

@sonship saidYour first post generated 6 thumbs down.
@Ghost-of-a-DukeCrikey, this thread has backfired on you big time, hey?
What makes you think that ?
Why are you daydreaming that I consider the thread a big backfire ??

@sonship saidNevertheless, your aim of taking a swipe at Rajk backfired in spectacular fashion.
@Ghost-of-a-Duke
lol. I care.
