Those scriptures are Jesus saying that we should not sin at all. Seems like an impossible task, but He said it.
She said, “No one, Lord.” And Jesus said, “Neither do I condemn you; go, and from now on sin no more.”
He isn't here to condemn us, here we are in need of a savior and Jesus became our sin
so we could be saved. He does want us to sin no more, sin will kill us, His Spirit brings us
life.

Yes He did say it.
Why don't you know the verses?
“If we say we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. If we say we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us.”

Originally posted by chaney3There are many verses about sin. Rather than taking individual verses we need to marry all these together to get the picture. There is a world of difference between one sin or an occasional sin or weakness, compared to a sinful lifestyle.

My interpretation is that for the occasional sin there is forgiveness, but for a life of sin there is danger of damnation, Only Jesus knows. Nobody, despite their claims is secure unless they actually hear Jesus state that they are secure. The disciples of old, the followers in Bible times had the priviledge of hearing Jesus say it to them that they will be in the Kingdom to come. The rest of us are not so lucky.
Paul said But I keep under my body, and bring it into subjection: lest that by any means, when I have preached to others, I myself should be a castaway. (1 Corinthians 9:27 KJV)
Paul had to be careful and Paul will await the righteous judgment of God, as will everybody else.

Originally posted by chaney3Like I said, Jesus Christ is the judge of what sin, if any at all he will tolerate. People should not go around saying that its ok, its just a little sin.. etc. Neither should Christians claim or believe that they have already have eternal life when Paul said that all people will have to wait until the end for this to be determined.
I spent time searching, but my search is no longer necessary.
'Some' sinning is fine.
