@kevin-eleven saidWell, certainly in a work environment, positivity and optimism are contagious and motivating, if genuine in their deliverance. Positivity doesn't mean being blind to negative events, but fosters hope and a way forward.
But only to the slightest extent, verging on neutrality.
Some will notice you are holding back, as they themselves are.
Others have already dealt with so many controlling people that overt encouragement of positivity might be suspect in their view.
