Can you explain what is the significance of what I can only assume are weighting numbers for each question's answers?

    "Note: A. Yes = 15; B. Maybe, C. No and D. Non-Applicable = 21 Poll Answers or 40% More (21/15)."

Simply shows that a this point with twelve participants the aggregate total mix favors disbelief by six points or 40%.

Note: Each Yes or Maybe or No or Non-Applicable Answer counts as one point; there's no weighting. It's A vs. B, C, D.

No... I mean the numbers following each question.

Hold on, let me grab what I mean.

    Here:
    1. Does an Omnipotent Sovereign God Exist? A=5... B=2.5... C=4.5... D=0... Total=12

    2. If so, has God revealed Himself to mankind? A=5... B=2... C=2... D=3... Total=12

    3. Does God have a plan which includes you? A=5... B=.5... C=2.5... D=4... Total=12

Are these weighting numbers for each answer? If so, what is their significance? If not, why include them?

Edit: Ok, wait... I get it... they are running totals. Duuuhh...

Edit2: In my defense, the half-points confused me... yeah, that's it. 🙂

    We're good.

Note: "There's no ulterior motive nor hidden agenda; our stat summary will be transparent. Its pragmatic purpose is to promote worthwhile logical discussion and rational debate by identifying the playing field bias. Benefit will depend on our level of participation." (Page one) Half points [rather than rounding] are intended to provide an accurate profile.

As requested by GB, I change my C to A, but do not believe in the omnipotent definition. God is not unlimited in his power and authority. He limits himself, by his holiness and righteousness. That is, God cannot lie, sin, or go back on what he has promised.

I agree with this, although I would expect that to be an A also.

I was wondering about the C, but then I assumed it had something to do with the omnipotent part. I hadn't yet made the full connection, thanks for clearing it up.

Agerg, my esteemed friend Mathurine replied to your site profile poem in Thread 137582 on 04 Feb '11 10:14; I miss her... Rest assured, this thread will in all likelihood die well before the "31st of August". Why? Because the prevailing lifeblood motivation of participation in this forum is unfortunately closed loop argumentation. Thanks for your poll answer on page 1.
