I'm thinking that if the flood was so high that it left shells on Everest then...Everest was under or at sea level during the flood, making the place Noah came ashore....which would be contrary to Christian belief....or Everest became higher after the flood due to tectonics, which would make it also feasible that Everest (or the material that would form Everest) was once below the natural sea level.
