Not from the words he used, if he described his life poorly sure.

So what kind of comparison are you trying to make between "the Devil" and ex-Christians?
The devil believes in God, there is no doubt about it in his life, and it will do
him no good before God.

Yes, but I as a Christian did much more than simply "believe in God". As a Christian I sincerely believed that I had Christ in my life ~ and the way you talk about having Christ in your life is very reminiscent of that period in my life. So, unless you are suggesting on some level that "the Devil" is somehow a Christian or an ex-Christian, I do not see what kind of comparison are you trying to make between "the Devil" and ex-Christians. Please explain.

Get it through you head, I believe you can fall away, I believe that can
happen!

He never claimed he had a relationship with God, he claimed he lost his
faith!

Those are two different things!

I never claimed it?? I believed ~ and claimed openly and often ~ that I had a relationship with God for twenty eight years. I have said this to you over and over and over again. How on earth can you say I have never claimed it?

Had you just said that, I had Christ in my life and now I deny Him, I would
have never said you never were a Christian. You stuck to the story you
lost your faith, you did not say I now reject Christ.

I have told you that I believed I had Christ in my life over and over and over again, maybe dozens and dozens of times. I mean * repeatedly * over numerous threads. I believed I had Christ in my life. I believed I had Christ in my life. Obviously I don't believe I have Christ in my life now ~ I am now an ex-Christian. I no longer believe the claims that Christian's make about having Christ in their lives because I do not accept the claims that Christians make about Christ. I am an ex-Christian. When I was a Christian I believed I had Christ in my life. I am an ex-Christian. I have said these things directly to you over and over and over again. 😕

Yes, you told me you believed in Christ, you did not say I had Christ in my
life. There is a difference! I lost my faith were your words.

I have said it repeatedly. Over and over and over and over again. I can scarcely believe that this latest discussion 'gambit' of yours is meant sincerely. When I was a Christian I believed I had Christ in my life. When I was a Christian I believed I had Christ in my life. When I was a Christian I believed I had Christ in my life. When I was a Christian I believed I had Christ in my life.

It seems Kellys argument is that once you are a Christian you can never after that get to a point where you no-longer believe in God. At best you can reject him (whatever that may mean).
This raises the question of what happens with Alzheimers.

But his core claim is that his current relationship with God has a level of reality that goes beyond belief. This of course contrasts sharply with his normal stance on any other topic where he claims that everything is belief and that nobody can ever truly know anything.

So just so you know, had you had Christ in your life and you've thrown that
away. What do you think is before you now, according to scripture?

They were my words?? I have used 1,000s of words in our discussions. "I lost my faith" are four of them. And I have probably had to say that over and over and over again. And among those 1,000s of words I have also said that when I was a Christian I believed I had Christ in my life. Over and over and over again. Is this 'gambit' for real, KellyJay?
