I did not say hell is eternal, but you've repeatedly reset the argument and claimed I've said it is eternal, so I must assume your wish is to continue arguing this point... which in itself points to a different sort of moral bankruptcy.

He came for HIS benefit not ours.

Who are you referring to? The Bible speaks about a self serving (wanna-be) god who only acts on his own behalf. This is bizarre... are you even aware of who it is you have been emulating?

Now this is just bizarre. It's as if God needed redemption from humanity.

Ok, I've seen it all now. Just get out the white out and rewrite your Jeffersonian Bible, whatever you think how it should read.

No one likes the concept of hell, just like no one likes the concept of suffering. But guess what, hell and suffering exist on earth today. Jesus himself experienced it. So I suppose you think that such suffering only exists in this world and impossible that it could exist in the next. Why then does it only exist now and not the next?

So salvation is compulsory for all?

Make no mistake, God has no "needs". He is in full control.

Conversely, when we come to him we come empty handed. Only full surrender will do, despite our inner protests and questions.

I get the impression you don't fill the later criteria.

Who said anything about being righteous?

I said that we come to God empty handed and we surrender all. That is, we surrender the good, the bad, and the ugly.

Abraham surrendered fully to God even though he was asked to sacrifice his own son.

And like Abraham, if we surrender all, despite our inner suffering/pain, we will prevail in the end.

If not, then accepting God has conditions, conditions that are more important than our faith in him.

So I assume you agree with the JW reasoning, which is God just snuffs out the evil doers.
