Let's have the scripture, please.
RC is probably referring to...

Leviticus 19:28 English Standard Version (ESV)

28 You shall not make any cuts on your body for the dead or tattoo yourselves: I am the Lord.

Edit: I guess you can argue law if you wished.

And also wearing clothes of two different cloths...

And I'm pretty sure that the JW's who came to my shop were wearing clothes
of at least two different materials...

Apparently that one doesn't matter any more.

did you examine their clothes to ascertain if they were a blend? the Bible mentions a blend of cloth, as in a wool and linen blend not two different types of cloth worn as separate garments, did you? no? well then! enough of your protestations!

Well one was wearing a cotton polyester blend.

The other had a coat which was a mix of at least 3 materials...
Not including the lining...

She's got you there Robbie. God's law forbid people from getting tattoos in the OT, so how could any of his laws possibly apply to us today? 😛

So are you saying that the Africans and Mexicans. S.A. don't evolve as fast as the Europeans and Asians?
It does not matter what nationality you are if you are a creationist your intellect has stopped developing and your creed is cognitive dissonance.

If we are evolving and getting better at things then why do people still get tattoos?
For the same reason that you get your teeth capped,
get haircuts and shave. Body modification to make
yourself more beautiful. (Because god cocked up!)

Why do you assume it is subliminal? Most people are well aware that they get tattos, wear makeup wear nice clothes buy fancy cars etc etc specifically to attract attention.

My own reasons for not getting a tattoo are:
1. They can attract significant negative attention in the work place.
2. They are relatively irreversible.
I think people get them because they are irreversible.

People want to make decisions that reflect themselves and "brand" that conviction on their bodies

It was branded, and I know the brand.

You really need to learn to think more.

Because they think it will help them get more sex.
